This Year's Analysis History JmsExpress Round: 11 Pick: 7 Last Updated: September 4th, 2011 at 02:09 Positives solid #3 S , double digit pts in 6 of his last 7 games , 75+ total tackle guy Negatives with all the injuries to the giants secondary sounds like he'll b playing some corner Draft Strategy needed a #3 S so he provides some good depth for me Kilroy1872 Round: 13 Pick: 5 Last Updated: September 1st, 2011 at 11:09 Positives Rolle topped 75 solos last year for the third time in his career, and a potential move to CB in the nickel could mean a slight bump in value. Negatives Rolle has made the Top 25 only once since 2007, and he's more apt to finish as a DB3 than as a DB1. Draft Strategy Considered going in a few directions here, but with Bethea a little nicked up Rolle provides me some needed depth and a serviceable starter should Bethea miss a game or two. Prior Year's Analysis History The Round: 11 Pick: 8 Last Updated: September 1st, 2008 at 11:09 Positives Servicable FF S who I'm hoping can produce top 20 numbers. Negatives He's didn't get as much action in 07 as 06, but I'm hoping he can stay someplace in between this year Draft Strategy I need another S, and Rolle's value is looking good here seadog Round: 8 Pick: 7 Last Updated: August 28th, 2006 at 09:08 Positives - Rolle has shown flashes of talent that made him a 1st round pick; fully recovered from knee surgery he should pick right up where he left off before he got hurt last year - tends to get a lot of tackle numbers for a CB Negatives - coming off an injury-plagued season. - not a lot of experience. Draft Strategy I've had my eye on a couple of CBs the last couple of rounds, and the one that got away from me was Gamble. I felt that I needed to grab one here so I went with Rolle. Antrel is coming off of an injury-marred rookie year. He started off with a bang and then got hurt. So far, it looks like he's fully recovered and ready to go. Preseason and training camp has been a big positive so far. I believe he has the quality to put up good tackle numbers for a CB as well as providing the occasional big play. Plus, I'm predicting teams will need to throw against the Cards and that means more work for Arizona's DBs. This is the guy that I had targetted here and I didn't expect him to be available. Welcome Antrel Rolle to Team Seadog! Return to list of IDP players
