He's being moved in to the nickle position this year and coaches expect to use him more. He should easily improve on last years numbers and should finish top-3 Negatives Draft Strategy I could have waited later to grab a decent #2 CB, but I think his value was too high to ignore at this point. I now have 2 CB that could easily be the best this year. JmsExpress Round: 8 Pick: 6 Last Updated: August 30th, 2011 at 12:08 Positives He finished in the top 6 in CB scoring last yr , he a scrappy little guy who's not afraid to mix it up or tackle , he had his best yr last season and his defense should see plenty of time on the field. Negatives last season was the first time that he racked up that amount of tackles,can he duplicate ? Draft Strategy I was going with CB this pick and debated between finnegan, winfield, and tillman. In looking back maybe I should of gone with winfield or tillman based on consistency and body of work, but I went with the youngest of the bunch. Prior Year's Analysis History Deckard Round: 8 Pick: 4 Last Updated: August 28th, 2010 at 10:08 Positives Had Finnegan played all the games last year he probably would've been a top 5-10 CB. Finding consistency at CB is tough and Finnegan has it. Negatives Groin issues but claims he is 120% sure he'll be starting week 1. Draft Strategy 6 or so CBs were off the board... I figured I'd grab a potential top 5 CB and wait on my #2 CB as this is a pretty volatile position year to year. Round 8 is a reasonable spot for my first CB. Return to list of IDP players
