After the draft I felt like I had a very, very, solid team. But like so many other teams out there I was a victim to multiple injuries, a retirement, and not following the most basic of fantasy drafting rules.

Sit back and crack a few cold ones, the Icebox is back for another week of fantasy football ruminations.

In a world that lacks positive role models and hero’s, I was a little more then perturbed when I heard that the NFL threatened to fine Jake Plummer for continuing to wear his number 40 sticker, Pat Tillman’s number, on his helmet passed the “regulated” two week remembrance. Oh and some questions too.

Some pretty good performances by some last week, and the Seadog nailed a few of them. Let's take a look at week 6, shall we?

With week 6 in the books, let's take a peek at week #7

Can anyone stop Daunte Culpepper? How about Curtis Martin? No? Well then how about Reuben Droughns perhaps? Unbelievable. If you think I'm bitter because I don't have any of these guys on any of my teams, well, you're right. No Texans, Steelers, Niners or Redskins this week so beef up those benches and get ready to roll.

I originally posted during the second half of the Seahawks Patriots game because while watching Fox broadcaster Chris Collinsworth mentioned the Patriots might be mentioned as a dynasty team.  First, I believe that is a foregone conclusion.  Second, I didn't want to be called a copycat. 

And finally, the Seahawks did make a game of it, but New England showed their greatness and shut Seattle down when they had to.

This story is probably like many others that state this Red Sox win is for my father, grandfather, etc....I believe that July 24, 2004 was the day the Red Sox solidified their journey to becoming World Champs...I decided to make a bet with my husband, whichever team won that day's Red Sox/Yankees game would be the team our to-be-born son would be a fan of...

I have 6 big sleeper plays this week (I feel like its gambling with my five star picks).  Anyways each of these guys has a quality matchup and a productive week should be in the cards.  Review of last week as well where I hit 62% of my picks.

Well, I’ve got to admit that last week was not a very good week for me IDP-wise. Between me blowing a couple of picks and having guys underachieve, my scoring was way down. Let’s see if we can turn things around this week.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen two more dominating performances by a runningback while playing for the same team.  Unfortunately most league rules don't let you combined players stats, so most people missed out on Derrick Blaylock's 4 touchdowns.

Since I'm sure many of you out there are unable to catch the live broadcast on Comcast New England Cable CN8' show Sports Pulse, I thought I'd share some of the stuff that we went over in last week's show since it's certainly relevant to all fantasy football players.  We're at the midway point in the season, don't give up, EVER!

Despite the NFL’s great desire for parity, it seems the league at week seven is top heavy to some degree. Keep in mind that parity is not the same as mediocrity which is why you have really strong teams every year. Let’s examine why the good teams are good and why the others aren’t.
