The Prognosticator - Week 13
Tony Holm, "The Prognosticator"
Dec 3, 2004 |

 |
| I'm going to be nice and give the Browns a couple of TD's just in case someone gets lucky and returns one on special teams or Corey Dillon fumbles on the Patriots 10 yard line. But come on now people. The Browns are starting rookie Luke McCown for the first time out of necessity against the overwhelming best defense in the league. Luke McCown hasn't slept in days. If he comes out of this game with the majority of his limbs he should count it as a win... |

| The voting this week was real close as Rudi Johnson narrowly edged out Priest Holmes with 45% of your votes. Of course Rudi lived up to his part of the deal and had a huge game the week he was eliminated. This past week he rushed for 202 YDs and 2 TDs and helped the Bengals win a division game over the hapless Browns. |

Week Twelve in Review
Doug Coutts, Fantasy Football Senior Staff Writer
Nov 29, 2004 |

 |
| My Friends, weather is a factor. It's only November and it is only going to get worse. Torrential rains in New Jersey and New England put offense on hold in those games, while a blizzard in Mile High had the opposite effect. Be prepared, know where your guys are playing and how it will affect them. Oh yea, did I miss the memo letting us know that this week had been dubbed "Wear Your Bad Third or Fourth Alternate Uniform"? Offenses were in high gear this week, EXTREMELY high gear... |

The Prognosticator - Week 15
Tony Holm, "The Prognosticator"
Dec 17, 2004 |

 |
| I'm about to type something that everyone can have a fun time disagreeing with. The Steelers aren't that good. Yes they are ranked #1 in every poll everywhere and they are a good team, but they aren't that good. While everyone is calling for Ben Roethlisberger for the Pro Bowl, do not be surprised if Ben hits a wall. In fact, he already has... |

The Prognosticator - Week 14
Tony Holm, "The Prognosticator"

| This is going to be a good football game. There are plenty of higher billed games like the Jets and Steelers but I'm picking this as the game that will keep you on the edge of your seat if you just like to watch football. In fact, throw out all your fantasy angles and plan on spending some time with this game as a football fan... |

Sleepers / Statistical Breakdown - Week 14
Adam Wain, Fantasy Football Staff Writer
Dec 10, 2004 |

 |
| Playoffs, Playoffs, Playoffs well at least for most leagues. This time of year you really want to go with the guys who got you there; however matchups and weather must still be in consideration. I would never suggest taking chances on a flyer type pick hoping he goes off. Therefore I won’t mention players that haven’t done much and now the matchup is so good they are bound to do something because they probably won’t. Good players are good for a reason and average or backup players are in that position because they aren’t as talented. I will review good players that have not been that consistent but their matchup is extremely favorable. |

The Last Row

Section 209 of the Linc, a great place to see another whooping. We like Brett Favre, but we'll take the Eagles perfect record versus Favre in Philly. McNabb, Westbrook and Owens put on an offensive clinic. While the defense shuts down the future Hall of Famer and the Packers running game.
Christmas is right around the corner, and the glow of happiness and good cheer is enveloping the City of Brotherly Love, as expectations of Sugar Plums, iPods and a playoff berth warm the cockles of our hearts. Oh...wait, that's not happiness and good cheer - that's dislike and mistrust of fans of any other teams. Well, same difference. |

| With two weeks left in the regular season, the NFL still has numerous questions to answer before the playoff brackets are set. In the AFC there is a dogfight amongst four teams for one final wild card spot. The New York Jets control their destiny, needing only a win to lock in the other wildcard spot. The Buffalo Bills, Denver Broncos, Jacksonville Jaguars and Baltimore Colts all need a series of events to occur to slip into the final wildcard spot and a shot at postseason glory. |

Sleeper Plays & Statistical Breakdown

| If you take a minute and reflect on your fantasy league this year review what each team did in the draft. Then look at who is currently alive in the playoffs and who is producing for them. Chances are the team still alive drafted ok but more often than not the reason a team advances deep into the playoffs are the free agent acquisitions. |

Dec 22, 2004 |

Week 16 is upon us and for those of you still reading this, congrats on making it this far in your league! When it gets to be this late in the season, you need to be wary of your fantasy players on playoff teams. Michael Vick will more than likely sit this week out as Atlanta has locked up the #2 seed in the NFC. With T.O. already done for the playoffs, you can bet Coach Reid won't play McNabb or Westbrook for the entire game. The most attractive fantasy options are on those teams battling to stay in the playoff race. Any Jets, Jaguars, Ravens, Broncos, Bills, Seahawks, and Vikings should be strong considerations for your starting lineup. |

| Heart is a term we use loosely sometimes when it comes to professional sports. Players either have it or they dont and it is what keeps them in our hearts regardless of what team they play for. Not withstanding the cheesy Replacements reference, every team needs this to continue to be successful. |

Week Fifteen in Review
Doug Coutts, Fantasy Football Senior Staff Writer
Dec 20, 2004 |

Week fifteen is almost in the books and I hope you were able to sit in front of a television both Saturday and Sunday. I lost count of how many times I said out loud "That's UNBELIEVABLE!" Strange week on the fantasy front where unfortunately many of the top players did not do well. Here are this week's top nine players: Volek, Bennett, Josh McCown, Porter, Kerry Collins, Culpepper, Larry Johnson, Burleson, Harrington. Ouch. |

| The Falcons are going to rest anybody that wears a Falcons uniform. I believe they're flying in an NFL Europe team to play the game for them. Is it me, or does the NFL need to add some competition clause to the league that makes it illegal to sit a player if he is not on the injury report? |

| Happy New Year! Fantasy Football Leagues officially ended this week. And now do you know how difficult it is to win the league championship? Many team owners dominated their leagues with players that were outstanding during weeks 1-14 only to see those players get injured or become nullified because the team clinched home field throughout the playoffs. |

Ron Anish, Fantasy Football Senior Staff Writer
Dec 29, 2004 |

It's the final week of the regular season and those McNabb owners know full well why it's important to play those players whose teams still have something to play for. Because of this, the Studs list will be removed as lots of big names will find themselves resting for the postseason. The teams to focus on this week in the AFC are the Jets, Bills, Ravens, Jaguars, and Broncos. In the NFC, it's the Vikings, Panthers, Saints, Seahawks, and Rams. Good luck! |
