Because of the huge number of articles, this archive is divided into sections:

I've had my hands in way too many drafts, I don't count, but if I did, the number would be in double digits. While I may or may not have put together any winning teams, all these drafts have given me a pretty good idea of what player trends are out there...the following is just one man's thoughts on some specific players and may not represent the thoughts of FantasySharks.com, its holdings or its subsidiaries.

The rookie class typically has many reaches for the current fantasy year, but spotting talent now can pay big dividends in keeper’s leagues. As everyone probably knows, being great in college almost never translates to immediate success in the NFL, and sometimes no success at all.

At the beginning of the 2003 season, this division had 2 playoff teams, the Defending Superbowl Champs, and Michael Vick's up-and-coming Falcons.  The Saints were a perennial playoff failure, and the Panthers were bringing up the rear.  One year later, the league is upside down with Carolina going to the Superbowl and Tampa Bay and Atlanta were at the bottom of the list.  Oh, some things never change, New Orleans wilted down the stretch and just missed the playoffs.  If you can predict how they will finish this year, get yourself on a plane to Vegas and visit the sports betting window.

This is the first of what I hope will be many offseason updates to the Food Chain. I think it was over a month (two months?) since the last update, so don't be alarmed at some of the large moves either up or down the list.

Update:  Thanks to those that emailed me letting me know that I was a fool for leaving Kevan Barlow off the list...not to worry, it was an oversight (though it isn't the first time I've been called a fool, and probably won't be the last!).  He's on the list now.
