For you history buffs, we will archive every article penned by the Shark Team in 2005. As each week is finished, we will move the content to this page so you can reminisce about the good old days ... like week 1.
It's the transcript from the BetBot's gala award show, held last Saturday in Las Vegas! Find out who the shark tank thinks are the most disappointing and most surprising fantasy players this season.
Happy New Year! The season is over so the articles take a turn down football lane and do some prognostication and then strive for some football insight.

The playoffs are about to begin!! This list will include a handful of players at each skill position that has either a very favorable matchup or a matchup to avoid each week in the playoffs. May those players you selected for your fantasy playoff pools appear frequently on the steamy side while those you avoided stay frigid throughout the post-season.
Don't go ANYWHERE! FantasySharks never closes. We'll have a playoff contest we'll be announcing shortly in conjunction with myfantasyleague.com, our own playoff contest and our annual SuperBowl 20 Questions contest. There's a lot still to come!!
We're pleased to announce that long time member Rush, has won the FantasySharks.com Great White League which is the top league here at FantasySharks.com comprised of only proven league champions. Congratulations Rush on a great season and your FantasySharks 2005 Site Championship!
Wahooo.Hit the trifecta last week! Not at the races, but against the man.All my plays covered last week, EASILY. It’s been a profitable season, but it’s not over yet.
The Bot returns this week with some divisional round picks that can't miss. You know why? He can spot a man with moxie, that's why. Also, the usual assortment of ranting and more admiration for Tom Brady's looks.
Week two of the playoffs brings us the M.V.P, the AFCs version of the greatest show on turf, and the defending Super Bowl champs looking to make it three straight titles. Even with the dominating defenses on display this week, there's plenty of offense to go around.
Wildcard weekend has come and gone...three of the four home teams were defeated, perhaps an indication that the current format doesn't reward the four best teams. In the end, the team with the most experience at quarterback played their way to victory.
Winners in the Pick 'Em Contest and Swim Contest will each receive $500 to spend at The Autograph Source, All winners, Survivor Contest included, will also receive a Fantasy Sharks T-Shirt and an autographed football card from our own Tony Holm. Not a bad divisional round for our mechanical friend, 3-1 ATS plus 2-2 on the totals. This week, some championship game picks for your perusal, and he can't help but comment on the bad facial hair in the AFC.
And then there was four...but not the four you were expecting. The Steelers crashed the party along with the hopes of many playoff pools by knocking out the Fantasy Gods on the Colts. If you're one of the lucky ones with Steve Smith and a QB still playing, congrats on winning your pool. If not, they'll be another game in 2 1/2 weeks where you might find a pool to enter if you look hard enough.
What started out as a normal playoff weekend turned into a weekend for the ages. It also brought forth the glaring point that the officials still make mind-boggling decisions that change games.
Wow, what a weekend of games. We had it all this weekend, comebacks, comebacks that fell short, upsets, and all around great performances. Sprinkle in a little controversy and a dash of a few incredible "if I didn't just see that, I wouldn't believe it" type plays and the four games this weekend will be talked about for a long time.
A super analysis for a super bowl. Keep in mind that this is coming from the data banks of an advanced gambling machine. You may not understand it all, but it's advice is rock solid.
Made it back from Vegas, a couple hundred dollars richer.Nope, didn’t ‘break-even’ like most of the suckers that pay the electric bill for all the Vegas neon lights.Talked to my contacts out there, and learned a bit about the SuperBowl line.
Seattle and Pittsburgh will square off in two weeks in the Big Game. The Steelers have had a wild ride to the Super Bowl, but Seattle has taken care of business like a #1 seed should. My prediction is Pittsburgh's brutal road to Detroit will finally catch up with them. Seattle will have the last possession and will make their first Super Bowl appearance count. Seattle 34, Pittsburgh 27.
I wanted to take the time to thank you for taking time out of your busy lives to read The Progno. It's been a fun ride this season as I complete my 11th year writing this column and I hope you managed to get a pearl or two out of it...
MVP Time The Sin City BetBot 6000, Fantasy Football Staff Writer Dec 23, 2005
This week the BetBot hands out some MVP hardware and shares some holiday spirit.
And the results are in! Congratulations to gypsy2! on their Fantasy Sharks Super Bowl 30 Questions contest victory! The winner walks away with a Fantasy Sharks T-Shirt and an autographed football card. Thanks everyone for playing, we will run it again next year.
And so the NFL season comes to a close and all that's left is the crying and the cleaning up after the party! Superbowl XL probably won't be talked about as being one of the best games ever, in fact it probably won't even be talked about as early as next week. But to those die hard fans from Pittsburgh, congratulations, Superbowl Champions!!!
