Until the Bucs show signs of life, they stay on my bench, and that includes Carnell Williams. The Saints won't have to do too much more than run the ball and play solid defense...
Folks, we hit our five star game last week. There aren’t many during the season, but they are great opportunities. The Public took Farve and his memory of fabulous Monday Night games, but the smart money was on the Donovan and the Eagles to blow out the Packers. The Three Star games went 1-2, but the key game was won!
Welcome back to The Hive! Week 5 has some oustanding IDP matchups for you to exploit. Come on in and check it out!
Games to Watch - Week 5 Chris Dolfi and Tom Braun, Fantasy Football Staff Writer Oct 6, 2006
Week 5's Games to Watch is a set to remember. They really do have it all. Division leaders, top offenses, top defenses, drama (on and off the field), and the perfect excuse to get 'sweet and sweaty'.
It is going to be an easy, victorious week.A week that will set me two games above .500.
The Seadog Report Doug Gaskell, Fantasy Football Staff Writer Oct 6, 2006
As we press onward into week #5, I'll take a look at some match-ups that I think will be successful this week.
Brain and Braun Chris Dolfi and Tom Braun, Fantasy Football Staff Writer Oct 6, 2006
This week Brain and Braun give you some more ways to seperate the champs from the chumps in your league. So get ready as the guys tackle IDPs this week. (Ugh, that was bad even for those guys. - ed.)
Once again, some deeper sleeper picks. Plus, the BetBot sets things straight regarding his other recent paternity scandal.

Bulger and the Rams finally woke up and McNabb continued his dominance in week four. The top WRs are starting to rise to the top so be patient. Who had week five in the Matt Leinart pool?
Albert Haynesworth made himself a bigger story than T.O. this week. Unfortunately he did it in classic T.O. style. He embarrassed himself, his coach and his team.
Here's a riddle for you: What do Warrick Dunn, Carson Palmer, David Carr, Matt Hasselbeck, Michael Vick, Rudi Johnson, and Darrell Jackson have in common? You guessed it...they're all on bye next week. Ouch! But have no fear...there's help out there for you in this week's waiver wire column!
Week Four in Review Doug Coutts, Fantasy Football Senior Staff Writer Oct 2, 2006
A very good week of football was played this weekend, the bye weeks are in full swing, but there was plenty of fantasy scoring to be found even in some unexpected places.
Now there's game film on Vince Young. Now there's a defense for Vince Young and expect the Redskins to employ it. I triple dog dare Young to throw into double coverage. That would be entertaining...
Ouch, when the best you can say about a week is, well, we pushed on one game, it was a rough weekend. “Ouch” is the next thing you say when the bookie comes looking for his coin, and you ain’t got it. Of course, I don’t have that problem, cause I started the year on fire. [But it’s been awfully cold lately]

Welcome back to The Hive everyone! I hope you had a successful week 5 in you IDP matchups, I know I did. We have tons to cover this week, from injuries to depth chart shakedowns, so let's get to it!!
Games to Watch - Week 6 Chris Dolfi and Tom Braun, Fantasy Football Staff Writer Oct 13, 2006
Week 6 isn't one of the best weeks ever for good Games to Watch, but somehow Dolfi and Braun manage to pick 3 that promise to entertain, be it must-win games, car wrecks, or a recipe that rivals anything Julia Child could whip up.
The BetBot gets involved with North Korean negotiations and also checks out some deeper sleepers. Warning: he recommends another Raider this week.
Brain and Braun Chris Dolfi and Tom Braun, Fantasy Football Staff Writer Oct 13, 2006
This week Brain and Braun shake off their fear of Friday the 13th, and take a look at how you can figure out which WR to start when you don't have clear-cut studs, all while making sure their fiber intake is in order.
The Seadog Report Doug Gaskell, Fantasy Football Staff Writer Oct 13, 2006
The dreaded week #6 byes are upon us. Let’s take a look at some favorable match ups as we “tackle” the large number of IDP players on the shelf this week.
Fighting for my fantasy football life, who came to save the day? Only the guy SI.com called "the most dangerous player in the history of fantasy football."
This week is a little bit about luck. This week is a little bit about good fortune. And this week is a little bit about a 20th High School Reunion.Hey it’s a diary isn’t it?
The next two weeks are the biggest bye weeks of the season so prepare yourself. There are some jewels to be found in that coal. Look for the teams coming off a bye week to post solid numbers in their return (except for the Texans). Sorry Houston, you have some problems.

The fantasy world held it’s collective breath this week as many people saw what could have been a serious injury to Larry Johnson. When is the league going to get tough on these types of things?
Joey Harrington a new starter in Miami? Larry Johnson having his head twisted around like an owl's? Multiple teams passing for less than 100 yards? The NFL is never short on action, that's for sure. And with six teams being on bye this week, you can bet that there will be plenty of action on the waiver wire this week. Read on and learn how to have your squad screaming louder than T.O.!!
Week Five in Review Doug Coutts, Fantasy Football Senior Staff Writer Oct 9, 2006
Good week of football...strange week of fantasy football...nearly a third of all the fantasy entities that get a mention this week are either a defense or a kicker.
This week the guys bring us 3 more must watch games, all while quoting great literature, avoiding litigation, and examining the media circus that surrounds T.O.It’s a good read, even if they say so themselves… and they do.
Well, looks like my cousin Vinnie took off for another week. I'm not sure if it was to visit his bookie or his maker, but he hopes to be back soon. Stepping in (again) is Mickey his other cousin.
I read on another site this week that the focus of your IDP's should not be to win you a game, but merely to keep you in a game. What a pantload!! I cannot count the number of fantasy matchups that I have won on the backs of my IDP's. I'm sure a lot of you have done the same. The guy that wrote that must have drafted Donnie Edwards this year!
It’s a special Friday edition of the Nuthouse Storylines! This means I was too busy during the week to write anything of substance by Thursday!

Injuries are starting to make things interesting in IDP-land. Well, if you need to play a guy or two here or there, here’s some match ups that I like for week #7.
Another bye week where six teams will be watching this Sunday's action from the comfort of their homes. Expect lots of success on the ground this week from your fantasy team, but passing numbers will be limited to a select few teams (Miami, Indy, N.Y. Jets, N.Y. Giants).

After 6 weeks of the season, the waiver wire typically isn't brimming with sure-fire starters and bright prospects, and this time is no exception. But with 6 teams on bye this week, many fantasy teams are testing the limits of their depth charts. Have no fear...presenting the best of what's left!
Week Six in Review Doug Coutts, Fantasy Football Senior Staff Writer Oct 16, 2006
Week 6 was a good week to have Tomlinson and/or Holt, woe to the owner that was up against both of those guys. Woe...is me...
Before everyone dismisses this game as fool's folly, there will be two solid fantasy starts from this contest. Wali Lundy and Travis Henry with Henry the better start. The score will be low as the running will be frequent but both belong in your lineup...
Welcome back to your one stop IDP superstore, also known as The Hive. I am currently delirious with a fever, so this should be fun for all parties! Git up and git git git down, lets take a look at some tasty week 8 (or as Ocho Cinco might say "semana ocho") IDP matchups!
Brain and Braun Chris Dolfi and Tom Braun, Fantasy Football Staff Writer Oct 27, 2006
This week Brain and Braun look at four fantasy names, and who they really are. They also look at the magic of David Blaine, the mental state of Eric Mangini, and dentistry - go figure.
Games to Watch - Week 8 Chris Dolfi and Tom Braun, Fantasy Football Staff Writer Oct 27, 2006
This week's 'Games to Watch' is jam-packed with action. The guys bring to you three can't miss games, try to sell shirts to an NFL franchise, discuss thoroughbred racing, and quote a large black bird, all in front of the Halloween weekend backdrop.
Back again, thanks Mickey for filling in last week. It’s hard to be a gangsta with all those family requirements these days.Vinnie’s working on his business, and expanding his legit business empire with a sports bar and niteclub.

Let's take a quick look at some up coming match ups for week #8
When a guy who couldn't make a clutch field goal for the Giants hits a 62-yard kick to win a game, you know it's a crazy season. So we try a crazier format this week. Let me know what you think.
The Bills, Lions, Dolphins, and Redskins get to kick back and watch the action in week eight. These teams need the rest as they have a combined record of 6-22. The Rams, Bears, and Saints should all perform well in their return from a bye week.

Seven weeks of NFL action are in the book. You're either flying high, complete toast, or more than likely somewhere inbetween . A couple of more QBs go down, and there are four teams on bye this week. The stretch run is just starting, and it's time to patch those holes in your roster...on the Waiver Wire. So let's go!!
For many years, Tiki Barber has been a staple of the Giants offense. Now it seems, the end of the era is coming to pass. Like Robert Smith before him, he is giving up the game of football to pursue the rest of his life.
Week Seven in Review Doug Coutts, Fantasy Football Senior Staff Writer Oct 23, 2006
The last of the "six bye week teams" weeks is over as the 2006 season rolls on. An exciting week that had an overtime game, a 62 yard FG, and a Randy Moss sighting! He's alive!
