With the football season heading into the dark days of December, the guys wring out three more top notch contests that ensure you’ll be entertained not only tonight, but this Sunday as well. They also manage to dig out the ol’ electric blankets, pour themselves a frosty mug of football goodness and their favorite beverage, get the intern to run out for some Chinese food, and try not to get sued by the FOX network – so pretty much business as usual in the ‘Games to Watch’ offices.

Just kidding. He used them all up on Sunday against the Vikings. It seemed as if Eli Manning was attracted to the purple and white people on Sunday. He contributed to 28 Minnesota points by throwing 4 interceptions; 3 of which were returned for touchdowns, and the 4^th was returned inside the 10 yard line.

Week 14 is upon us. It seems like the season started just a few weeks ago. Now it is time for the playoffs for some teams and do or die for others. You need to play your hot hands, push all your chips to the center of the table and go all in.

With the NFL Season winding down, it has come time to wind down the weekly Waiver Wire Article.  Thanks to all the dedicated readers for your support during the season.  This seems like as good a time as any to put together this year's All-Waiver Wire Team.  Last week we talked Turkey, this week, Waiver.  Players on the All-Waiver Wire Team are players that in all likelihood were not selected by any teams on draft day.  Looking at the players on this list, well, it's a pretty good team.  A good draft goes a long way towards winning a fantasy championship, but equally important is weekly vigilance on the waiver wire.  Enjoy!

The guys feel like they’ve turned in their best column of the season, picking out three great games this week, including tonight’s Thursday night contest.   They tell us they managed to write a great column all while managing to outline a new thriller novel, studying medicine, reading the newspaper, and watching “Dragnet” – not to mention trying to figure out who to ‘thank’ for their FantasySharks.com Secret Santa gifts in the annual office party.   Whew – these guys are as busy as Christmas Eve shoppers!

There was highway robbery in Motown Sunday afternoon as the Cowboys stole one from the Lions for their 12^th win of the season.   

Lion 4^th quarter missed opportunities:

1)      Jason Hanson misses a 35-yard FG to potentially give Detroit a two-score lead with ten minutes to go.

2)      Jason Witten fumbled at the 1-yard line with under six minutes to go, but the Lions couldn’t put together a drive to seal the win.

3)      Dallas recovers a Tony Romo fumble with a minute remaining when a Lion had the ball in his grasp.

4)      Dallas converts the ensuing 4^th and 6 play to keep the drive alive.   

The Lions had plenty of chances to win this game, but in the end it was Tony Romo doing it again leading Dallas to a victory. His 16-yard strike to Jason Witten tied the game with 18 seconds remaining and Nick Folk nailed the XP to give them the lead.
