IDP Cheatsheet: Wildcard Round
Gary Davenport, Fantasy Football Senior Staff Writer
Jan 6, 2012 |

 |
| I’m not gonna lie to you. Last week, I thought, that the season was over for the Cheatsheet. However, if by now I should at least know that thinking gets me nowhere, as after a number of requests from both the Shark Tank and my Twitter followers (all 4 of them) the IDP Cheatsheet will be making a playoff run of its’ own. |

The Prognosticator - Wildcard Weekend

The Broncos struggled against the Chiefs, I get that, a 7-3 loss in a game where Tim Tebow self imploded is not the way you want to go into the playoffs. Riding a three game losing streak into the playoffs also isn't exactly going in with a full head-of-steam. There are dozens of arguments against the Broncos here, some justified, I get most of those too. But expect Willis McGahee and Tim Tebow to tandem up the middle as the Steelers struggle to defend the option. This will be one of those inspirational home crowd games as even the casual fan will find themselves rooting for Tim Tebow.

The Diary of a Fantasy Virgin : Week 17

| It is 2012. This is the last year of the confusion and then we get into the familiar territory of decade measurement. You know the teens, twenties, thirties, etc. This whole timeline from 2000 – 2009 was really only good for those glasses you see on everyone in Times Square New Year’s Eve. |

In The Spotlight: Week 17 In Review
Matt Wilson, Fantasy Football Senior Staff Writer
Jan 2, 2012 |
 |
 |
| The 2011 fantasy football is over! It was one of the more intriguing years in recent memory as several Super Bowl hopefuls failed to even make the playoffs and three quarterbacks passed for over 5,000 yards. Did you know 12 of the 16 games played Sunday were meaningful contests? Matt Wilson gives us a recap as he puts Week 17 "In The Spotlight." |

 |
| Welcome to the Divisional Round edition of the Brew Crew Corner. During the postseason I go back over the season and analyze how it went. I like to look at the value that each position gave – both positive or negative – which I use to help prepare for next season. |

The Prognosticator - Division Weekend
Tony Holm, The Prognosticator

The 49'ers will play physical, they're beasts on defense and will keep it to short, high percentage passing while pounding Frank Gore and Kendall Hunter on offense. While everyone thinks of the Saints offense and how they looked unstoppable last week, the real story will be the 49'ers run stop defense and the pounding the Saints front seven is about to take on defense. By the 4th quarter, the Saints won't have an answer for the slashing and gashing running of the 49'ers.

IDP Cheatsheet: Divisional Round
Gary Davenport, Fantasy Football Senior Staff Writer

| Well, maybe we’d all have been best served if I hadn’t kept the Cheatsheet going into the playoffs, as on the heels of going 1-3 picking last week’s games my recommendations may have left many folks with a thinned pool of talent. Either that, or you’ve read my stuff long enough to know me, did the opposite of what I suggested, and you’re eating high off the hog right now. |

The Diary of a Fantasy Virgin : Week 18

| Wild Card weekend came and went. The home teams went 4-0. My prognostication record was 2-2, which was better than last year’s first weekend of the playoffs. I find myself watching how each of these games turn on one play. |

The Prognosticator - Championship Weekend

Nothing is ever guaranteed in life, and the Patriots have two tough games to get through before a duck boat parade through Boston but now that the Saints and Packers are out of the equation (the two teams that in this author's opinion would have beaten the Patriots) it's now officially the Patriots championship to lose.

IDP Cheatsheet: Championship Game Round

| Only four teams remain standing in the 2012 NFL playoffs, so the pool of available Individual Defensive Player (IDP) talent is getting pretty shallow, and last week’s upset of the Green Bay Packers by the New York Giants likely cost many fantasy owners quite a few players they were hoping to save for this week’s lineup. |

| The playoffs happened and the result was a 3-1 record. Not bad, but that one loss was the Green Bay Packers losing in the final game of the weekend. How can this happen? |
