Happy New Year! I hope that your fantasy season ended with a championship. I have a fantasy hangover from my season and unlike the NFL, I can't fire the coach or the general manager! So we live and we learn from 2012 regarding what worked and what didn't as well as accepting that injuries and bad luck are all part of the game. Now that the fantasy season is over, it is time to see who finished the year as the top fantasy MVP and also the best at each fantasy position.

WILD CARD ROUND

AFC

#6 Bengals at #3 Texans

This is a rematch from last year's wildcard game with the same seeding for each team. Houston won that game 31-10. The Texans have struggled with back-to-back losses to end the season. The Bengals have won three in a row to secure the final playoff spot.

We all know that teams that get hot at the right time often go far in the playoffs. The Bengals will find a way to hold on and win this contest.

Prediction: Cincinnati 17, Houston 16

#5 Colts at #4 Ravens

Rookie quarterbacks will dominate the headlines this weekend as Andrew Luck will be one of three rookies that has lead their team to a playoff birth. The winner of this game will face Peyton Manning and the Broncos so there will be plenty of people who would love to see Luck vs. Manning next week and they will get their wish. The Colts have won five of the last six games and will out play the Ravens offensively. The Ravens have lost four of the last five games and could be Ray Lewis' last game.

Prediction: Colts 24, Ravens 10

NFC

#6 Vikings at #3 Packers

These teams played last Sunday with the Vikings coming away with the victory. They split the regular season so this will be the rubber match fans will be excited to see. This game could go either way and it will come down to which team makes the least mistakes. The Packers will make sure that Adrian Peterson doesn't run for over 200 yards again on them and Aaron Rodgers will make the play needed to pull this one out.

Prediction: Packers 32, Vikings 28

#5 Seahawks at #4 Redskins

I'm calling this the Rookie Bowl and this game will not disappoint. These two rookies have been critical to their teams' success. The Redskins have won seven straight to win the NFC East while the Seahwaks have won seven of thier last eight games including five straight. This will have the most quarterback rushing touchdowns in history, I can just see them with 2-3 each. In the end, the Seahawks defense makes the key stop they need to advance.

Prediction: Seahawks 28, Redskins 24

Good luck to your team in playoffs.
