Vinnie spacer
Against the Odds - Week 4

| More

Vinnie leaves something to be desired in Week 1, thrives in Week 2 and then bombs in Week 3. From the pattern forming, here, it's safe to say Week 4 bodes well for Vinnie's picks.

Buffalo  @  St. Louis (+8.5): The Rams have benched Marc Bulger for good ol' Trent Green and are unmistakably in desperation mode. Steven Jackson has been running hard but won't prevent the Bills from winning by a good bit, in this one. Buffalo should once again play well in most phases of the game, including a lot to be proud of on the ground and through the air.

Gimme Buffalo minus the points !

Philadelphia   @ Chicago (Even): It'll hurt the Iggles if Brian Westbrook can't go, make no mistake. At least Correll Buckhalter and Lorenzo Booker are capable backups – not that it matters the way Chicago's defense has been playing. I like Donovan McNabb and the chances he'll carry his team to a difficult road win, though, better than Matt Forte and his chances against what is a very stifling Philadelphia run defense. And it should be fun to see how Kyle Orton and the questionable O-line in front of him react to the Eagles blitz packages.

  Gimme Philly!

Houston @ Jacksonville (-7.5): I grant you the Jags are a tad unpredictable right now, but the Texans are in disarray. Will Matt Schaub and Andre Johnson turn it around? Not in Jacksonville. Barring a monster day from Mario Williams & co., Jacksonville should enjoy a lopsided victory to even things up in the win/loss column.

  Gimme Jacksonville minus the points!
