Every week I will pick and choose certain players that will produce above (feast) or below (famine) our Fantasy Sharks Player Projections. A couple guys every week may be obvious, but some might surprise you.

Feast

Shane Vereen, RB, New England

Fantasy Sharks Projection: 8 Points

Vereen led the team in targets against Carolina last week and we all saw just how essential he is to the passing game. He will be even more involved this week and is one more Stevan Ridley fumble away from being a top-10 running back each week.

Donald Brown, RB, Indianapolis

Fantasy Sharks Projection: 6 Points

Brown is the main running back in Indianapolis and he took advantage of his touches last week. Arizona has a solid run defense, but Brown will get the red zone looks if the opportunity presents itself.

Jerricho Cotchery, WR, Pittsburgh

Fantasy Sharks Projection: 10 Points

Ben Roethlisberger loves Cotchery. I can’t explain it, but for some reason he is leading the team in touchdowns this year. Joe Haden will be all over Antonio Brown this week and Cotchery will be the biggest beneficiary.

Heath Miller, TE, Pittsburgh

Fantasy Sharks Projection: 3 Points

Let’s double the dose of Pittsburgh receiving options! Thirteen targets and eight catches are unlikely, but he’ll be a serviceable tight end.

Famine

Matthew Stafford, QB, Detroit

Fantasy Sharks Projection: 35 Points

Can Darrelle Revis shut down Calvin Johnson ? No. No he cannot. He can make things more difficult, though. Stafford should have a decent game, but don’t expect a lights out performance.

********************************************************

Robert Griffin III, QB, Washington

Fantasy Sharks Projection: 23 Points

Griffin III has his work cut out for him this week, but he will get it done on the ground. San Francisco will let everyone down.

********************************************************

Rashad Jennings, RB, Oakland

Fantasy Sharks Projection: 18 Points

There was a mediocre performance underneath the monster stats from Jennings’ Week 11 game. He’ll plod away at just better than 3.0 yards per carry this week.

Andre Ellington, RB, Arizona

Fantasy Sharks Projection: 13 Points

I’ve done a 180 degree turn on Ellington. I love his skills and ability, but the usage just isn’t there (and apparently won’t be at all this year). Coach Bruce Arians sure is something. I’m just not sure what that something is. Proceed with caution.
