And the hits just keep on coming for Michael Vick as he was harassed all game long by the Saints' mediocre pass rush being sacked seven times. Vick also threw a pick-six after Celek tipped the pass. Fortunately, his fantasy performance was salvaged by a 77-yard bomb to DeSean Jackson in the early fourth quarter. However, this game was primed for Vick to carve up the Saints pathetic secondary. Up next is the third ranked Cowboys pass defense as Vick’s value is sliding to a bottom of the barrel QB1.

The uber talented Jeremy Maclin has topped four fantasy points only once in the past five games. Maclin’s fantasy value is tied to the struggles of Vick, and with the stiff Cowboys pass defense next on the schedule, we should be searching for alternate options as Maclin should be considered an upper WR4.

Saints

With Darren Sproles now missing in action, Pierre Thomas owners were ecstatic to read during the week that their man was going to be the lead back for the Saints. That did not happen my friends as New Orleans is the most predictable RBBC in the league. On Monday night is was actually Chris Ivory leading the team in carries with 10, followed by Mark Ingram at seven and then the PT Cruiser at six. All three ran effectively, but the three-headed monster is alive and well in the bayou making all Saints running backs a mid RB3 option.

Jimmy Graham still looks a bit gimpy. But a 90 percent Graham is 100 percent better than just every other tight end not named Gronkowski.

We don’t normally talk about kickers, but Garrett Hartley likely won’t be on the roster by season’s end after missing a field goal and nearly missing an extra point. Watch the daily news closely if the Saints start auditioning candidates in the near future.
