Welcome to Week 7 of “On the Rise, On the Fall.” Throughout the season, I will discuss players whose stock is rising and others who are not having the same luck. I will avoid naming the obvious studs – Andre Johnson,
On the Rise
Matt Schaub, QB,
Kevin Smith, RB,
Deuce McAllister & Pierre Thomas, RBs,
Stud of the Week
LenDale White, RB, Titans
: 149 yards and three scores will win you the Stud of the Week award. With his favorable matchup and with bye week issues, there’s a good chance owners had LenDale in their lineups. If you did, you were rewarded big time. White’s day was highlighted by his 80-yard TD scamper, which caught fans by surprise since they are accustomed to his goalline TD runs.
On the Fall
Eli Manning, QB,
Larry Johnson, RB,
Julius Jones, RB,
Dud of the Week
Peyton Manning, QB, Colts
: I’m giving the award to Peyton this week for his 229 yard, two interception, zero TD performance when we thought the Colts “were back.” Reggie Wayne also was affected by the Colts performance as he had just 24 yards. It was a disappointing day for Manning owners. Let’s see what he can do next Monday night against the undefeated Titans.
One Week Wonder
Mewelde Moore, RB,
That’s all for this week’s edition. If you have any questions or comments, e-mail me at pags2122@yahoo.com. Thanks for all of your e-mails so far!
