Good morning everyone. Hopefully you've had a chance to visit your local place of worship and now it's time to get on with some fantasy football. Pierre Thomas and Mike Bell should be benched today. The Eagles defense did a stellar job holding DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart in check last week as they rushed for 2.6 and 3.2 yards, respectively. Do yourself a favor and make a lowball offer for Pierre Thomas. Once he returns to full health he will be the main ball carrier for the Saints high-powered offense. Both Raiders running backs,
McFadden and Bush, should be active. Last week the Chiefs gave up 198 yards and two touchdowns to the Ravens. There's Super-sleeper, Josh Morgan, was non-existant last week gaining 38 yards on three catches against the Cardinals. Hopefully you didn't cut him loose as he'll get into the endzone this week against the Seahawks. Roster Matt Leinart immediately. Earl Bennett will continue to get all the looks he can handle from Jay Cutler and should find his way into the endzone. With LT2 already ruled out, Darren Sproles will be good for at least 100 combined yards and a touchdown. Keep Braylon Edwards on your bench as Champ Bailey is known to be a solid defender. Antonio Bryant, ruled out for week two, appears to be having more problems with his recovery from knee surgery. Word is that Bucs' officials are worried, so you'll want to keep Michael Clayton on your radar. Expect the Titans' duo of Chris Johnson and LenDale White to both make a visit to the endzone. The Jets defense had their way with the Texans' offense last week, but they'll find out that you don't tug on Superman's cape. Expect Belichick and Brady to open up a can of whoopa$$. Of course, the New England defense may give up a few points along the way. He shouldn't be, but if Cadillac Williams is available in your league, pick him up. Keep Matt Schaub active this week. Big Ben threw for 363 yards and a score against Tenny to open the season. Along with Matt Leinart, I love the upside of Rex Grossman when the inevitable Matt Schaub injury comes to town. I'd like to wish my nephew, George, who celebrated his 16th birthday earlier this week, a very happy birthday with much love from Uncle Jimmy.
