The Hive – Week 16 edition

Welcome back to The Hive!! This is the final edition of The Hive in 2007, and the final edition of the fantasy season. I would like to thank those of you who have been following along this season, and I would like to thank Tony Holm, Rob Schare, and all of the other Fantasy Sharks staff for granting me this space each week. IDP’s are the future of fantasy football, and I have enjoyed bringing you my take on them each week.

As far as my fantasy season, I made the playoffs in all 4 of my IDP leagues, but unfortunately I was bounced out of the playoffs in round one in 3 of the 4. Thankfully the one I made it in is my money league, and cold hard cash definitely cools the sting of choking in my favorite league, The Wall. I think cutting down the number of my leagues made me a lot more successful this season. When something that is supposed to be fun ends up feeling like work it is time to cut back, and that’s how I felt in 2006 with 11 leagues. I am likely going to cut down from 5 leagues to 3 next season in an effort to be even more dominant in the leagues I do participate in.
