The Panthers may be too far gone to be able to turn it around. Unfortunately for Cam Newton, all the advice he's getting to suck it up and be a leader will only make him internalize it more, which will eat at him from the inside out. It's the wrong piece of advice and unfortunately it will end up causing Newton to take another step backward. The real answer is that the Panthers need to rip up the playbook and get back to a fundamental base set offense and pound their running game right at people.
