The Seadog Report - IDP rankings for 2004

| More

Okay Sharkfans, with a little fear and trepidation, it’s time for the Seadog’s inaugural fantasy football IDP rankings for 2004. I realize that there are many of you out there who have little or no IDP experience and this ranking list is geared more towards the basics – the tried and true point producers as well as some strong up-and-comers. The common denominator among IDP enthusiasts is probably tackle statistics, so I’m attempting to base these rankings somewhat around that, although a few Seadog “wrinkles” got factored in as well.

I fully implore all of you out there to take this information as a base for your own league and adjust the ranking accordingly. Perhaps you play in a league that is more weighted in sacks or INTs. Scoring can be so varied from league to league, and this list is certainly not tailor-made to any particular one. For those of you IDP “newbies”, my advice would be to concentrate on LBs first and DBs second as they, in general, tend to generate the best IDP points. And, lastly, keep in mind that there are a few unsettled positional situations for several teams, so do your research!
