My apologies for the past couple weeks – Vinnie’s been very busy making money on my other projects, and trying to finance a new land deal. Returned from Vegas just in time to head to Nashville to pound some beers with my more boring associates (lawyers and accountants), but at least it should be an exciting Pats/Colts thriller. By the way, Halloween is over, my daughter went as a Mafia princess – didn’t really need much of a costume, but then again, what college coed wears much of a costume at Halloween anyways, but I digress. Sucks to be a parent these days, even Tony Soprano has family issues… On to football, a couple nice spots here. San Diego -7 @ Minnesota: Yep – San Diego is much better than Minnesota. Nope, Minny won’t get blown out at home. The Vikings will probably lose, but expect a big day from Adrian Peterson. Take the home dog, Minny +7 ***** Dallas -3 @ Philly: America’s team, National TV. Tony Romo – new contract, QB Playboy. Donovan McNabb, washed up, Andy Reid distracted. Easy play here – go AGAINST the public, and take the home dog. Philly +3 ***** Baltimore -9.5 @ Pittsburgh: Kyle Boller. Big Ben. Nuff Said. Lay the points. Pittsburgh -9.5 *** Gentlemen, this is a good week for the bookmakers. All the public money is headed in the wrong direction according to my friends in Vegas. Nobody wants to bet on Kansas City, Arizona, Carolina, Jacksonville, Buffalo, Cleveland, or Houston.
