Vinnie's Pick$ and Pa$$es - Week 14

| More

It’s the Refs fault. Ok, maybe not, I’m not a crybaby, I’m not a whiner, and I’m not going to blame someone else for my stupid decision. The Pats SHOULD have rolled the Ravens last week, but my info that Randy Moss is not 100% didn’t come to me in time. The Pats defense should have dominated Kyle Boller, but instead, the Ravens running game worked well. All in all, a horrible capping job by me, and it hurt, cause I put half my house on the Pats last week. At least the Jaguars and Cardinals covered.

Chicago +3 @ Washington :   Washington is the sentimental favorite, but they are due for a letdown after last week’s bungled ending. On the other hand, the Bears bring a solid defense and 60 minutes of game. Put your money on the team that gives a full effort here.   Back the Bears +3 ***

Dallas -11 @ Detroit :    Detroit ’s defense is terrible, and Dallas offense is excellent. Lay the points, and watch Terrell Owens score multiple touchdowns.  Detroit is in shambles, and has been on the wrong end of multiple blowouts this season.   Dallas -11 ***

Carolina +11 @ Jacksonville :    Carolina is coming off a home win, and Jacksonville may have a letdown after their divisional game last week. Vinny Testaverde is back, and Jacksonville is overrated, and double digits is way too much! Take the Panthers and the points.   Carolina +11 ***

Next week, it’s the Game of the Year (Part II), as one team has nothing to play for, and the other, is fighting for survival. Will need to make amends for last week’s disaster. Plus, I’m going to do some research at the Pats/Steelers game this weekend. Rumor is Randy Moss is hurting, hope he has enough in him to Cowboy-Up, pad his stats, and negotiate a boatload (pun intended towards Minneapolis Vikings) of cake next season as a free agent.

Bears +3 ***

Dallas -11 ***

Carolina +11 ***

G’Luck,

Vinnie!
