Vinnie's Super Bowl Pick$ and Pa$$es

| More

OK – Last chance to make some money for the year.

To recap, we’ve had a solid year, a good year, but not a great ‘break your bookie’s legs’ year. Vinnie has spent a lot of time lately in Vegas and Texas.  BTW – San Antonio rocks – what a fun city. Go to the ‘Rive’ bar on Thursday Nights for $1.00 Drinks. Anyways, on to handicapping the biggest game of the year.

First, Superbowls are often blowouts, and rarely close like last year. I believe this year will also be a blowout. The money is moving in the right direction as well, as the line has moved from Pats –7 to Pats –7.5. That is a large move off a major number. But, there is good reason for it. The Pats are a dynasty, and Tom Brady has NEVER lost a playoff game. While McNabb is a solid QB, his #1 weapon Terrell Owens is NOT 100%. So, the Eagles already have an excuse for losing. Pats always bring their ‘A’ game in the playoffs, and the Eagles player dined on the super soft NFC. Normally, I usually shy away from a popular favorite, but here, it’s just too tempting. If the Eagles manage to stay in this game, I will be surprised.

No chance for the Eagles to win here, Lay the points. Pats –7.5 for $110/$100

Also, take the Pats on the money line Pats –260 for $260/$100

And Pats First Half –4 –115 $115/100

Pats –18.5 +300 for $100/$300

Tom Brady will he throw an interception NO +110 $100/$110

Tom Brady – What will he throw first (TD or INT). TD –200 $200/$100

Tom doesn’t throw interceptions in playoff games

Kicker to Record More Points Adam Vinateri –1.5 (even) $100/$100

Adam is money in the bank.

OK – Looks like it’s all Patriot action this week. About 1K riding on the game, should be a blowout. Take the AFC to kill the NFC. Statement game for Pats dynasty.

Let’s finish the season with a bang! Thanks all for visiting my column, and perhaps, next year we can get some discussions going on my play selections… If you’ve followed me, you’re up for the year, and as someone told me last week in Texas – "I’m never betting against you again" – although that was all about business…

Keeping Score…
***** (6-1) 86%
**** (1-4) 20%
*** (14-8-1) 64%
** (5-1) 83%

G'Luck!
Vinnie
