With only another couple of regular season games left in the fantasy season, this was a tough week for McNabb, Jordan, and Kevin Jones owners, amongst others. All of this carnage on the injury front makes for an interesting waiver wire week.

DeAngelo Williams RB Carolina Panthers

He may already be long gone in your league, but if not, he's certainly worth a grab. The rookie had a career game against the reeling Rams this week with 20 carries for 114 yards as well as a couple of catches. He was replacing DeShaun Foster, who hurt an elbow. It's unclear how much time Foster will miss, if any, but if he returns next week look for this to be a RBBC with Williams at best, limiting the fantasy value of both players.

Justin Fargas RB Oakland Raiders

OK fellas, it's week 12 and the pickin's on the waiver aren't as rich as they one were. With LaMont Jordan blowing out his knee and adding to the nightmare that has been the 2006 season for the Raiders, Fargas seems to be the man carrying what's left of the torch for the Black and Silver. Justin ran for 52 yards on 19 carries against the Chiefs...not an impressive average, but he's looking to be the starter for the rest of the season. Buyer beware...he's traditionally been about as injury-prone as they come.

Solid Pickups

Devery Henderson WR New Orleans Saints

Streaky Henderson had a monster game against the porous Bengals secondary, snagging 9 balls for 169 yards. Don't expect consistent numbers from Henderson, but if Marcus Colston continues to miss time, Henderson is a good gamble against the Falcons this weekend.

Arlen Harris RB Detroit Lions

Kevin Jones sprained his ankle this week, perhaps badly enough to miss a few games. Enter former Ram backup and Hofstra alum Arlen Harris, who rushed for 40 yards as his replacement. Harris doesn't have a Jones skillset, but looks to be the go-to guy if he's out for a length of time. In the Martz offense, he could put up some respectable though not great fantasy numbers down the stretch if you're hard-up for RB help.

Aaron Brooks QB Oakland Raiders

Brooks isn't a great NFL QB, but he'll be throwing the pigskin all over the field with LaMont Jordan gone, and he does throw a nice deep ball. If your league doesn't penalize much for interceptons and you're a poor McNabb owner, consider Brooks as someone who could post some nice garbage time numbers as the Raiders play from behind.

Jeff Garcia / A.J. Feeley QB Philadelphia Eagles

Neither of these guys are too exciting as individual players, but with McNabb out for the season, there's enough offensive talent on the Eagles to make their QB a decent spot starter. It's unclear which of the two will get the nod, but if you're feeling frisky, roll the dice on the one you like and see what happens. Garcia threw 48 passes last week without a pick, so look for him to get first crack at the job against the Colts next week.

Ronald Curry WR Oakland Raiders

Curry has been a Brooks favorite in the past and resumed that role this past week, catching 5 balls for 85 yards against the Chiefs. Ronald has blown his Achilles tendon in both legs, but looks to be getting close to his old form. He could be a sneaky starter as a #3 WR down the stretch should you need help there.

Jason Wright RB Cleveland Browns

With Reuben Droughns out of action, Wright was the primary ballcarrier for the Browns and ran 18 times for a respectable 74 yards against a stout Steelers defense. Should Droughns miss another game, he's not competely unstartable against a reeling Cincinnati defense next week. Almost unstartable, but not completely.

Randal Williams TE Oakland Raiders

Yet another Raider on the list, Williams has quietly been putting up respectable fantasy numbers the last couple of weeks, catching 3 balls for 41 yards on Sunday. With Randy Moss and Jerry Porter having basically quit playing, Williams looks to continue seeing more balls thrown his way.
