Week 10

| More

With the performance Derrick Blaylock gave this weekend you have to give serious consideration to the fantasy star in Kansas City being the offensive line and not Priest Holmes.  The Chief’s running attack didn’t miss a beat with Blaylock at the helm as he rushed for 186 YDs and 1 TD leading all Runningbacks this week in fantasy scoring.

A mix of old timers and new guys had big weeks rushing the ball in week 10.  Curtis Martin, Jerome Bettis and Emmitt Smith along with Domanick Davis, Kevan Barlow and TJ Duckett all scored 2 TDs.

Fred Taylor, Corey Dillon, Marshall Faulk and Ahman Green all had big rushing yardage numbers, and helped lead their team to victory.

And with his big week, Marshall kept the streak alive.  What streak is that you ask?  Well it’s the streak where the player who gets eliminated from this competition comes back and has a big performance the very next week.  Marshall ran the ball 18 times for 139 YDs, but also received 62% of your votes and has been eliminated.

Now onto the nominees for this week’s Ultimate Fantasy voting.

Current contestant list:

Shaun Alexander      Tiki Barber                         Kevan Barlow

Domanick Davis        Stephen Davis                   Corey Dillon

Marshall Faulk          Ahman Green                     Travis Henry

Priest Holmes           Edgerrin James                   Rudi Johnson

Jamal Lewis             Deuce McAllister                 Clinton Portis

Fred Taylor              Ladainian Tomlinson            Brian Westbrook

Each week we’ll take the 2 lowest fantasy producers based on the Fantasy Sharks scoring system and put them up for an elimination vote.

The two lowest fantasy performers left actually had decent weeks.  Edgerrin James carried the ball 20 times for 86 YDs as the Payton Manning airshow continued this week.  He scored just 9 fantasy points.

Jamal Lewis carried the ball 30 times but only amassed 71 YDs also for 9 fantasy points.  The Jets defense shut him down but the Ravens still prevailed in overtime.

This week we’ll have a third choice as Priest Holmes sat out with a sprained knee.

So it is now time to vote, one of these three backs is headed to waiver wire.  Place your vote here.
