Player Notes, Rumors and Quotes:

Steve Smith (CAR) did not play last Sunday and had figured to be limited in practice this week, but Coach John Fox said on Monday that he is likely to return in Week 12. - On Monday, Coach Tony Dungy said that he does not expect that Marvin Harrison (IND) will return to the field until Week 13. - TJ Houshmandzadeh (CIN) is likely to miss practice time this week after a back injury last Sunday, but he is expected to play in Week 12. - Chad Johnson (CIN) continues to be bothered by lingering ankle, knee and neck injuries. - Mike Williams (TEN) has had a disappointing career and will be reunited with another college connection in Offensive Coordinator Norm Chow at Tennessee. - Nate Washington (PIT) would get a boost in value with fellow wideout Santonio Holmes having a high ankle sprain and being unlikely to play a couple games.

Javon Walker (DEN), Bernard Berrian (CHI), Jerry Porter (OAK), DJ Hackett (SEA), Ashley Lelie (SF), Michael Clayton (TB), Antwaan Randle El (WAS) and Santana Moss (WAS) all fully practiced on Friday. Santonio Holmes (PIT), Demetrius Williams (BAL), Plaxico Burress (NYG) and Reggie Williams (JAC) all did not practice on Friday.

Pittsburgh has allowed the 3rd least amount of yards at 1,168 and the 3rd least amount of touchdowns at 5 out of 11 or 45% of passing touchdowns to the receivers. Brandon Jones - TEN: Last Week: 5 targets, 3 receptions, 60%RC (reception conversion), 25 yards, 8.33 AYR (average yardage per reception), 1 touchdown. Jones has a strong play against Cincinnati this week. No one has stepped it up for the receiving corps in Tennessee and Jones was supposed to build off last year. Injuries have sidelined him for a couple games this year, but with QB Vince Young improving Jones could be the one to benefit down the stretch.
