Player Notes, Rumors and Quotes:

Javon Walker (DEN) returned to the lineup last Sunday, but only played 8 snaps. Coach Mike Shanahan said Monday that he has made some strides and should see significantly increased playing time in Week 13. Walker went through a limited practice on Wednesday, so monitor closely. - Brandon Stokley (DEN) sat out practice on Wednesday and Coach Mike Shanahan said that "he's a little banged up." - Patrick Crayton (DAL) practiced on Monday and said that he expects to be good to go for Thursday's game, he also put in a full practice on Tuesday. - Terry Glenn (DAL) has already been ruled out for Thursday's night game. - Laveranues Coles (NYJ) was seen walking gingerly on Monday and would need more healing time to play in Week 13. - Like most of the season Plaxico Burress (NYG) sat out practice on Wednesday. In Week 12 he looked like he was playing at far less than full strength and now is reportedly suffering from knee problems in addition to his season-long ankle injury. He could be in danger of missing this week or being hampered by his injuries and his condition should be monitored closely. - Santonio Holmes (PIT) sat out practice on Wednesday, but Coach Mike Tomlin said on Tuesday that he's cautiously optimistic about his chances of playing in Week 13. - Troy Brown (NE) was activated from Physically Unable to Perform list on Tuesday. - Marvin Harrison (IND) sat out Wednesday's practice and when asked about Harrison's chances of playing in Week 13, QB Peyton Manning said he wouldn't count on it.
