Week 13 in Survivor Pools

| More

Week 12 Review

Last week, I took the Colts in my survivor pool, but advised you to take the Cardinals if you didn't have Indianapolis. Arizona was shocked in OT at home to the 49ers. Sorry to those who went down.

2007 Record: 13-1

This week is one of the most difficult weeks in the season. I will provide a few of my potential selections for this weekend and come up with a final pick.

Week 13 Selection

This week, I am forced to choose between the Rams hosting the Falcons, the, the Broncos at Oakland, or the Titans hosting the Texans.

I am reluctant to take the Rams because of the injury to QB Marc Bulger. Atlanta is also a dome team so they are used to the playing field.

The Broncos suffered a potential season-crushing loss last week in Chicago. They had the game in hand, but couldn't hold on in the 4th quarter. A loss like that coupled with a game in the black hole the following week spells trouble. Never trust those road divisional games...especially in a rivalry.

That leaves me with Tennessee, who has dropped three straight, and will host Houston this weekend. The Titans are working themselves out of the playoff picture and with a loss this weekend, they will be in a deep hole. If Haynesworth is back, I like their chances in this one. The Titans are 0-3 when he is not in the lineup. I'm going to rely on the injury report (he practiced yesterday), and hope he suits up. It is amazing how one player can affect a team. With all of that said, I'm going with the TITANS to rebound after an embarrassing loss at Cincy last weekend and get themselves back into the playoff hunt in the AFC.

*Stay away from the Colts this week. The Jaguars are primed to pull the upset.
*If you have the Patriots, this is the week to use them.
*The Dolphins are going to get their first win of the year against the Jets. They may even look good in survivor if Cotchery & Coles are out. Check the injury reports.

Good luck in Week 13!
