Week 15 in Survivor Pools

Week 14 Review

The Jaguars were one of the easiest picks of the year last week as they rolled over the Panthers at home, as I expected. They kept me alive in my elimination pool and now there are just three weeks remaining in the regulation season. However, "we'll take it one game at a time."

2007 Record: 15-1

This week there are several options, but I'll narrow it done to one team who I think is your best bet. You've come this far so don't blow it now!

Week 15 Selection

Let's analyze our options...

Houston vs. Denver - Avoid

San Francisco vs. Cincinnati - Avoid. I am not trusting Cincinnati on the road at this point of the year.

St. Louis vs. Green Bay - I doubt you have the Packers this late in the season, but they should be good in this one.

Tampa Bay vs. Atlanta - Like the Jaguars, I love the Bucs coming off a road loss last week playing at home. They get to face Atlanta, who has dealt with a lot this week regarding their coaching staff after playing a Monday night game. Tampa still needs to win to clinch the division so expect that to happen this week.

New Orleans vs. Arizona - Stay away from this high-scoring affair.

Carolina vs. Seattle - I wouldn't touch this one.

New England vs. New York Jets - No comment.

Kansas City vs. Tennessee - Avoid.

Pittsburgh vs. Jacksonville - Great game, so avoid.

Cleveland vs. Buffalo - Don't touch this key AFC playoff-like game.

Miami vs. Baltimore - I wouldn't go near Miami at this point.

San Diego vs. Detroit - If you still have SD, they are a solid pick this weekend.

Oakland vs. Indianapolis - Use 'em if you got 'em.

Dallas vs. Philadelphia - I doubt you have the 'Boys at this point.

New York Giants vs. Washington - Stay away.

Minnesota vs. Chicago - A divisional game where the Vikes are favored by double digits. Chicago beat GB earlier in the year on the road in primetime, but that was a long, long time ago. Kyle Orton makes the start for the Bears this week and Minny is fighting for the final playoff spot in the NFC. They should beat the Bears at home.

MY PICK: It comes down to two teams for me- the Bucs or the Vikings. Minnesota is bound to lose sometime. They're good, but they're not that good. I don't know when they'll slip up, but it will be one of these games. As for Tampa, they host Atlanta, who is on a short week. I really like that matchup and now is as good as anytime to use the under-rated Bucs. Put on your bandana and your pirate's eye patch, and root for the BUCS!
