BYE WEEK: DET, PIT, DEN, SF, IND, BUF

Player Notes: Bobby Engram (Sea) will start in place of Deion Branch (Sea). DJ Hackett (Sea) is moving around well and lightly jogging, but will remain sidelined until late October. Terrell Owens (Dal) suffered a hip contusion last week, but did not leave the game. Lee Evans (Buf) believes that QB JP Losman should remain the starter when he's healthy, but thinks the coaches may want to stick with rookie QB Trent Edwards. Plaxico Burress (NYG) aggravated his ankle injury and continued playing, he's expected to continue playing thru the pain. After aggravating his hamstring injury, Eddie Kennison likely will not play this Sunday. After benching rookie James Jones (GB) because of a pair of fumbles last Sunday, coach Mike McCarthy said he's moved on. Santana Moss (Was) practiced fully Wednesday and looks good to go. Antwaan Randle El didn't practice on Wednesday and is hoping to play Sunday, but coach Joe Gibbs is not as optimistic, saying it'll take a miracle for him to start. While Anquan Boldin (Ari) continues to improve, he did not practice on Wednesday and is day to day. While Jacoby Jones (Hou) returned to practice Wednesday and could play this Sunday, Andre Johnson (Hou) did not practice and seems unlikely to play Sunday. Brad Smith (NYJ) has officially passed Justin McCareins on the depth chart. Marty Booker (Mia) will be the teams emergency quarterback this Sunday.
