It was the battle of the "Johnsons" in Week 2 as the Titans Chris Johnson and the Texans Andre Johnson both put up huge fantasy days in a game that was all about the offense. Chris rushed for 197 yards and two scores with his TD runs going for 57 and 91 yards! He also caught nine passes for 87 more yards and a touchdown. Andre fared pretty well himself, snagging 10 balls for 149 yards with two scores of his own. You could say Andre got the better of Chris because the Texans won 34-31, but either way they were both remarkable on Sunday. These numbers really shouldn’t surprise anyone because both players are top notch talents and will be all season long.

Giants fans are quickly forgetting about Plaxico Burress and Amani Toomer with the emergence of two young stars at wideout. Receivers Steve Smith and Mario Manningham looked great Sunday night against Dallas as each had 10 receptions and a touchdown. They really complement each other very well in that Smith is the possession receiver who will go across the middle and make the catch, while Manningham is the deep threat guy who will make the big play. New York has something going with these two and if either one is still available in your league I would suggest snatching them up ASAP!

It was another disappointing game for all of the Matt Forte owners out there. The highly drafted Chicago RB logged just 29 rushing yards and 33 receiving yards on the day. For all of you counting at home, that’s good enough for five fantasy points. Forte’s subpar outing now gives him 11 fantasy points total in two weeks, but please stay confident in him. He has gone against two solid run defenses in the Packers and Steelers thus far so not many running backs would have done much better. The good news is, he gets the Seahawks in Week 3 so be prepared for the pride of Tulane to bust out in a big way as he climbs back into fantasy relevance.

Speaking of poor performances, what was the deal with Cowboys QB Tony Romo on Sunday night? He goes from the best game of his career in Week 1 to the worst in Week 2! Talk about being inconsistent. Romo completed just 13-of-29 passes for 127 yards. He did throw for one touchdown and run for another score, but that was overlooked by the three incredibly stupid interceptions that he threw, although one of the picks came on a fluke play where the ball bounced off the heel of Jason Witten’s foot. Romo looked lost and nervous on the field the entire game. Hopefully it was just an off night for him and I fully expect Romo to bounce back next week at home against Carolina.

At this point in the season I wouldn’t endorse any of the Tampa Bay running backs. It looks like the coaching staff is fully intent on splitting the carries between Carnell Williams, Derrick Ward and Earnest Graham. Williams has shown he is the best back of the three and has already scored a TD in each game so far this season, but Ward continues to get just as many carries, while Graham is slowly moving to the bench. Fantasy owners cannot start any of these guys right now, but if you had to own one than I would suggest stashing Cadillac with the hope that head coach Raheem Morris will smarten up and start giving him 20 carries a game.

Denver rookie RB Knowshon Moreno received 17 carries and ran for 75 yards on Sunday and there’s no reason to think that he won’t improve on those numbers this week against the Raiders. The Broncos love this guy and have already stated that Moreno is the starting RB as long as he’s healthy. I can’t tell you how much I love this kid and think that he’s going to be the rookie of the year in the league. A lot remains to be seen with Moreno so you may be able to trade for him at a reasonable price for at least one more week before he really goes off in Oakland on Sunday.

All is good if you're a J.E.T.S. fan these days as a rookie head coach and rookie QB have led them to a 2-0 start. Included in that start was a solid defensive performance against division nemesis New England on Sunday. The Jets beat the Patriots 16-9 in a game where New York did not allow a point the entire second half and completely frustrated Tom Brady with a series of delayed blitzes and constant pressure. Jets rookie QB Mark Sanchez wasn’t dominate, but he did what he had to do to win the game, throwing for 163 yards and one touchdown. You can already see that Sanchez has those great leadership skills and his confidence is growing game by game. Right now he is a solid backup fantasy QB and don’t be surprised if he becomes a starting option in a few weeks.

I know it’s only been two weeks, but so far it’s been the year of the tight end in fantasy football. There are 10 TEs averaging 10 fantasy points a week right now, which is completely insane. Of those 10 players, six of them have scored twice and none of them are named Antonio Gates or Jason Witten.

I would like to end my article with a shout out to the Cincinnati Bengals who bounced back nicely in Week 2 after a devastating loss to the Broncos in Week 1. The Bengals went into Lambeau Field and escaped with a 31-24 victory over the Packers on Sunday. It was good to see them respond with a win in week two after a fluke play started their season with a defeat. WR Chad Ochocinco delivered his promise and did a Lambeau leap after a second half touchdown grab, while RB Cedric Benson ran for 141 yards. All in all, it was a good performance for a Cincinnati team trying to get back to the playoffs.
