Who Sharks are Starting - Week 6 Update Oct 11, 2008
It's Saturday night, which means it's time to finalize your lineups, assuming you've recovered from Friday. Here's the Saturday update for Week 6 of a new ranking system that draws straight from the actual lineups of over 30 leagues at FantasySharks.com including official leagues, and leagues formed by members of the FantasySharks.com forum community.
Based on feedback from the first release, here's what you need to know:
Players are ordered by strength
A player's score is a measure of strength that varies with the number of lineups in the calculation. The highest-ranked punter has a lower score than the highest-ranked runningback because because fewer leagues use punters. In other words, the sample size is built into the scores, and more samples (to a point) means a more accurate picture of the collective Tank Brain. Mmmmmm... Brains...
This ranking does not currently account for league scoring, but most of the leagues represented are PPR
Rankings are current as of Saturday, October 11th at 8pm ET.
Adjustments for league scoring and other factors are coming soon. If you have other suggestions, stop into the FantasySharks.com forum and let me know what you think and what you'd like to see.
