Ubaldo Jimenez will go on the disabled list with a right thumb injury.

The condition of Jimenez's thumb has improved in recent days, but the Rockies don't want to push him too soon and aggravate the injury. It's believed that he could be back as soon as April 17. Jorge De La Rosa will likely take his place in the rotation Friday while Greg Reynolds will come up from the minors and pitch Saturday.

Doesn't look serious, but thumb issues for a Pitcher are never a good thing.

As of right now it is looking like he should be back around the 18th. I hope he comes back strong. I am not an FBB player but as a huge Rockies fan.

This has been a busy offseason for me. good to see you to man. I am great yourself? I gotta admit I do'nt think anyone saw the rockies getting off to this type of start. I am enjoying it but the real test well come after the all-star break. We seem to have a knack for shall I say tailing off. I was glad to see ownership step up ans spend some cash to logo down Cargo and Tulo.

Johnny Herrera & Chris Iannetta have been nice surprises. I love our lineup top to bottom. The Bulpen has steeped it up so far too Still a long season but I like the direction we are heading no reason not to win the NL west this year.
