Didn't forget him, just don't think he's worth the pick (never saw him fall below the end of the 2nd) required to get him...probably because I disagree about why his average tanked. He's changed his approach since getting to New York and instead of using the whole field is using the short porch to his advantage. It will allow him to maintain a higher HR level longer, but at the expense of his average. I think the 35/100 is legit, but so is the .250 average. If I'm targeting Stanton in round 3 I cannot take on Tex in round 2, I'll be playing catchup the rest of the draft to make sure my average isn't in the bottom 1/4 of my league.
