This thread is intended for individual player discussion.

Breaking news or injury status may still be posted in the Main Tank, but will be merged into these threads after sufficient time has passed. Mods will update the thread title to include these breaking reports as soon as they can. To aid in letting us know when this occurs, please use the report function to alert us when an update needs to be made.

Please continue to post WSIS, TRADE, WAIVER, and DRAFT question in their appropriate forums.

For additional news, stats, and projections on this player, please see his Fantasy Sharks Player Page.

EDIT: Continuation from old Main Tank thread http://www.fantasysharks.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=235044

Browns coach Pat Shurmur indicated Wednesday that Montario Hardesty has earned an increased role going forward after gaining 86 yards on 17 touches during his Week 3 spot start.

Shurmur conceded starter Peyton Hillis "is our back," but stated that Hardesty is "further along" than the Browns expected and "can handle more" of the load than Hardesty did in the first two games. Hardesty wound up playing 63-of-65 of the Browns' offensive snaps against the Dolphins. An even timeshare may ensue, as both backs can pick up the blitz and play on all three downs.

Time to revive the dead!

Both backs you could say are injury prone, but Hillis probably moreso.

he is? hows that?

might want rethink that position.

As a Hillis owner, I welcome someone getting him some breathers. The lack of which is what killed him down the stretch, along with getting banged up. Hillis will still catch passes and get goal line touches.

If you dont watch college ball you would know this is far from accurate, sadly.

Hardesty is to RBs what Danario Alexander is to WRs - and thats NO exaggeration.

E-doughnut w/sprinkles to anyone that can tell me how many knee surgeries hes had and some sandies to anyone that can tell me how many games he was actually fit enough to start in out of how many potential regular season games his (Tennessee Vols) team played ...

When did this individual player forum start?

Bummer. I was not too keen on when the Team Forums started, and since they did it's kinda killed team talk as few post in there.

I have the same concern with this forum.

The Main is for FF talk, right? Isn't talking about players, and teams, part of that?

Ha, this won't get discussed much here.

This thread will just die like any thread in the Team forum.

Give us some time to make this work. We are trying something new that I hope will turn into an incredibly valuable resource. We just need feedback on how to improve it so that it is usable.

I like this idea a lot, Stone. I can't stand sorting through general topics to find individual player information. Are you guys making an effort to consolidate old threads into here?

Also, saying Hillis is moreso injury proned that Hardesty is laughable.

Interested to see how this turns out. I can see the value in having player and team forums, but I can also see the potential for overkill. A mod's life, it ain't easy...

Coach Pat Shurmur on the performance of RB Montario Hardesty in Oakland: “He can play better.” Hardesty dropped two more passes and contributed little in the running game. Browns RapidReports
