I believe with McGahee out, Denver will use Ball as their main back and keep Moreno as the 3rd down/receiving back. In OT against Miami when McGahee was out Ball was the lead back. If you look at the play by play, he was in almost half as much as Moreno was. Maybe something to come??? Beat next week WW and pick him up if you have room to stash. I know with byes and injuries everyone can use a potential starter. Anyone elses thoughts???

Thanks! I was thinking about picking up Ball. I log into my home league and wouldn't you know it... the freakin Broncos fan in the league beat me to him :cussing: :evil:

no new or updated moreno threads in the main tank right now with mcgahee out for 2-4 weeks.....but people are pimping lance ball. (decent deep league option...i'll grant you that)

the hate on moreno is rampant in these parts.

I actually did pick up Moreno on Friday in my kicker/defense league :lol:

Honestly, with Tebow behind center I dont think any Denver RB has any real value with McGahee out. Ball will see some carries but when they get down near the goal line Tebow will run, run, and run some more. Moreno may have some value in PPR leagues the next couple of weeks, but unless you are really desperate, I wouldn't roster Ball.

Also, he's not that good. I like the guy but I just don't see explosiveness from him, he hasn't really proven he can catch out of the backfield and he tends to go down rather easy on first contact.
