This guy can be had for free in most leagues right now due to lack of performance while Britt was lighting things up..

Britt is gone..
Nate is not great and won't do any better with the focus all on him..
the other 2 WRs on the roster are complete scrubs..
Titans HC Mike Munchak said Monday the Titans may look to use TE Jared Cook in more three-receiver sets with Kenny Britt lost for the season..(roto)
Cook is known for having above average athletic ability.. (has been compared to Finley)
Without Britt the QB will get more pressure and the run game will suffer even more.. check downs should increase

I am not seeing why this guy is not the top add this week other than people want to see it to believe it first.

What am I missing?

As a dyno owner I really really hope so, but I'm not holding my breath. We've been hearing the hype for years.

There is no reason why he can't lead the team in receptions form here on out.

I don't see why. He seems so polite in his interviews.

You're definitely not the only one, he is a designated Tank Darling and has been for years. That may be why he's not in alot of the WW discussions this week, as he's already rostered in alot of leagues. He was already owned in all my dyno leagues, and he was drafted in all my other leagues (sample size = 10).

As to Hasselbeck hating him, well I guess we'll really see if that's true or not now that Britt's targets have to go somewhere, but as of right now Lavelle Hawkins has more targets than Cook, which isn't exactly encouraging......

have they been keeping him in for pass protection thus far? I haven't watched for it or noticed it..

Good question and I don't know for sure as I haven't seen any Titans games so far. I can say that, FWIW, I have read some people speculate the problem is his timing with Hass is off....they seem OK on the short routes but any long routes they appear out of sync. Someone else's opinion, just sharing it. If it is true, there's definitely potential for that to improve over the course of the season, but it still may take a few more weeks to get there...... I certainly wouldn't be expecting Cook to explode out the gate this week......

I actually drafted Cook way late, and got impatient. My starter is Graham so there's still no question who i'm starting every week.

Check my sig for the roster.

Would anyone consider dropping Winslow for Cook?

Winslow plays @GB on Grahams bye week. Cook plays @ATL...who haven't given up much to TE's at all so far.

Hasslebeck made a very average TE, John Carlson, a viable fantasy option for a couple seasons in Seattle, so it's not like Matt can't give a TE some lovin' ... by all indications, this kid Cook is quite physically gifted, but, that doesn't necessarily guarantee fantasy success, as we all know.

That being said, the current situation with the Titans is the perfect storm for Cook ... best shot he's ever had at fulfilling the hype.

Move on. As a die-hard Titans fan, I can tell you that Cook has all the talent in the world, but is missing in preparation & between the ears. He still hasn't gotten it yet. I don't know that he ever will, as I think the Titans are just about fed up with it. A guy with that much talent should be way further along than he is. I don't look for that to change anytime soon, no matter who is on IR.
