Whoa....The Curse of the Black Spot great episode. Give that a 9.

The woman with the eye patch again and her face in the wall...more cool stuff.

I'm still making my way through last year's season. But I have to say it's growing on me.

If X-files had been shot in space while watching Benny Hill and listening to Pink Floyd you would get Doctor Who.

So far:

"The Eleventh Hour"- okay
"The Beast Below" - B
"Victory of the Daleks" meh
"The Time of Angels" & "Flesh and Stone" - "A"wesome favorite on so far
"The Vampires of Venice" - B+
"Amy's Choice" - okay

You're coming up on The Hungry Earth and Cold Blood. Another 2 part story. Great story.

Watched the 2-parter last night. I'll give it a C+ really that episode(s) could have been told in 1 hour.

If you liked that, watch Blink from series 3. That's the first story with the weeping angels. Many vote this the best Doctor Who story to date.

Approaching BART train sounds like an approaching TARDIS. They both travel through time and space.

Here's a recent list of top 10 stories of the entire show's run. It's kinda/sorta bad to recommend the best of the best to begin watching as it leaves a viewer with expectations off the chart for everything after. I can assure you there are clunkers, some are "meh" as DF puts it, some are average, some are great some are spectacular.

Full Ranked Story List

1. Blink 9.5747 - 10th Doctor (David Tennant)
2. The Talons of Weng-Chiang 9.4615 - 4th Doctor (Tom Baker)
3. The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances 9.3922 - 9th Doctor (Christopher Eccleston)
4. The Robots of Death 9.3899 - 4th Doctor (Tom Baker)
5. Genesis of the Daleks 9.2685 - 4th Doctor (Tom Baker) (where my signature comes from. That Davros, he's a meanie)
5. City of Death 9.2685 - 4th Doctor (Tom Baker)
7. Human Nature/The Family of Blood 9.2454 - 10th Doctor (David Tennant)
8. Pyramids of Mars 9.2333 - 4th Doctor (Tom Baker)
9. The Web of Fear 9.2222 - 2nd Doctor (Patrick Troughton)
9. The Seeds of Doom 9.2222 -- 4th Doctor (Tom Baker)

Here's the list of top 10 stories since the relaunch in 2005

1. Blink - 9.575 - 10th Doctor (David Tennant)
2. The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances - 9.392 - 9th Doctor (Christopher Eccleston)
3. Human Nature/The Family of Blood - 9.245 - 10th Doctor (David Tennant)
4. Dalek - 8.896 - 9th Doctor (Christopher Eccleston)
5. The Eleventh Hour - 8.872 - 11th Doctor (Matt Smith)
6. Bad Wolf/The Parting of the Ways - 8.779 - 9th Doctor (Christopher Eccleston)
7. The Girl in the Fireplace - 8.773 - 10th Doctor (David Tennant)
8. Midnight - 8.767 - 10th Doctor (David Tennant)
9. Turn Left - 8.749 - 10th Doctor (David Tennant)
10. The Time of Angels/Flesh and Stone - 8.743 - 11th Doctor (Matt Smith)
-

All great stories. Some stories I have ranked higher or lower than these lists. That's the thing about fandom, what some might love someone else will not. All episodes since the relaunch in 2005 are available for immediate viewing through Netflix (listed under Doctor Who 2005 )

I'd love the idea of hearing it, but if a TARDIS materialized I'm not sure I could deal with it well (Certainly not as well as almost everyone in show does  )

I told dedela that the TARDIS is alive. Sure enough, they make a story about it.
