Got up real late for me...9:30 - slept off a small drinking binge due to a crab boil we had yesterday evening at the house. Breakfast was served, watched Horrible Bosses, finished the clean up of the house from last night. Went to my father in laws for some ribs, potato salad and beans.

My son gave me Basket Case because he thinks I'm a basket case, I guess.

My daughter decided she couldn't wait so she woke up at 12:15am. I put her back to bed and she woke up 30 minutes later and didn't go back to sleep for another 4 hours. Was woke up at 7 for my present. Framed photoshoot of my daughter in a Dolphin's jersey complete with eyeblack, pigtails, and holding a football. I didn't even care that it was Brandon Marshall. Today was a special one because it's the first time she's been able to say Happy Father's Day. Here's to many more to come.

RIP Dad :Drink)

Happy Father's day to all the other dads out there.

X2

My dad died when I was a teenager. No big loss, he was a :censor: anyway...

My dad is still around, but doesn't give a :censor: about me or my kids. I haven't talked to him in over a year. :censor: him, his loss.

Since Im not a dad myself I went to my mom's family's camp and had lunch with my grandfather. A few uncles were there too, and a cousin that is a dad. Then I went to my parents house and had dinner with the folks. Nice to see my father, and grandfather on father's day.

Happy Father's Day everybody. I spent the day cooking Brisket and Sirloin, had 4 meals and filled a few hearts and bellies.

Best gift of the day was given to my FIL by my wife.

Ben and I went to San Marcos to hang at the river. He wanted to see the campus where I went to college so we took the short tour...it was hotter than hell. We booked it to the river and jumped in...72 degrees year round coming straight from the springs. We hit the rope swing, paddled around in some kayaks and swam for about 5 hours. Wrapped it up by grabbing some shakes at the DQ and drove back to north Austin...got home. Took a nap for an hour and took him home. Then I went to my girlf's house to grill up some sausage dogs and drink some Lone Stars...wrapped it up with F's day you know what.

Perfect day.

When people say "Father's Day you know what" are they talking about blowies?

Sucks you only get them one day a year. I don't want to be a Dad yet if that's the case..

Went to Chicago for the weekend for the Red Sox/Cubs series, with 8 buddies. Ate and drank like Vikings Fri/Sat. Got home yesterday afternoon and was picked up by the fam and brought out for an early Father's Day dinner. Great weekend/Father's Day. I'm too old to play Viking on a regular basis though LOL
