So I just ordered a 2013 Wrangler Unlimited Sport in the Dozer Orange and I'm anxiously awaiting it's delivery to the dealership.
Here's what mine is going to look like:

Is anybody else here a Jeep enthusiast? What are you driving?

^ like.

congrats. I've actually been thinking about an older Jeep CJsomething -- preferably one of the last model years before they started putting computers in 'em. anyone know what year that was?

Stockpile of gold and silver ... check
Bug-out cabin in the woods (paid for in cash) ... check
All-terrain vehicle without on-board computer control ... in process

You're almost there.

Trust me, in person the Dozer is quite orange.

I got the email notification earlier this week that it's in the shipping stage, I should get my Wrangler by the first of the month!

cool beans.. hope it shows up in one piece

I saw one in that orange last week on a lot in Madison - it is definitely orange. That pic is of a yellow one or its a poor picture.

I think it's a bad picture. The yellow is VERY yellow, no mistaking it.

It's not an investment. My only vice is new vehicles, I don't smoke, gamble, drink expensive booze or go to restaurants a lot. I lease a new car ever 3 years, or in this case 18 months.

I'm good with leasing. I also buy outright as auto loans aren't attractive to me at all. the gap has closed somewhat in today's market between 1yr old cars and new if you are financing.

Yea, the same with the orange  its more of a road work caution sign orange. Not as bold as a true orange.. kind of how I saw it and what it reminded me of. 'General Lee orange' toned down a bit maybe.

I'm a big Jeep guy. I've had 4. 98 Wrangler Sahara, 2007 Wrangler 2 dr, 2010 Wrangler Unlimited, and my most recent a 2004 Wrangler. The wife drives a 2011 Grand Cherokee Limited.

Here is a pic of my JKU:

and here is a pic of my most recent toy:

I have a lot of fun building them up and modding them.

Having owned 2 of each the TJ and JK generations, I have lots of likes and dislikes of both. The JK's are waaay more comfortable and practical. Drawback is that every soccer mom on the street is driving one now and it kinda kills the Jeep vibe. The TJ's just feel more like a "Jeep", albeit not as comfortable as the JK. Just more fun. Also a lot of "Jeep" guys don't accept the JK drivers as true Jeepers. Kinda stupid really.

Dragon, I'm sure you will enjoy your JK. Updated engine, some nice new features, etc. My two still had the minivan engine...sucked. Badass, capable vehicles. Check out jk-forum.com, jkowners.com, and jeepforum.com. Best places to gain knowledge and some pretty good guys there.
