I own Johnny Knox and keep reading about how great he looked during the preseason -- and how horrible Roy Williams played. Yet Knox is "demoted" and Williams named the starter. Add to this Devin Hester and all you get is a huge "wth?" when you look at Bears receiving corps.

So, Chicago homers, tell me what's what here. Is Knox going to get some looks? Is he a startable WR/flex in Week 1, or do I just sit him and wait for the hammer to drop on Williams?

Either I start Knox or go with Danny Woodhead instead. I need to make a decision.

Sit him until the Bears come to their senses. Bennett is the only one I'd consider starting.

There's an expression about cream rising to the top. Johnny Knox is that cream, at least in Chicago's WR group.

Knox isn't a compiler, he is a quick hitter......so Roy can have his 6 catches for 54 and Knox can still have that 3 receptions 48 yards and a TD.

I'm liking Earl Bennet to emerge.

Bennett, especially in PPR. Avoid the other turds--

It's all up to Roy. If he decides to show up, he's the guy. Still, the Bears are likely to pass a lot this year. One of the WRs is going to be worthwhile this year...but it's a coin flip who.

PPR I think the best bet is Bennett, mostly because his price is the lowest and he's the most well-rounded receiver in the draft. NonPPR I think any of them is worth a flyer, but I have no idea who will rise to the top.

The media was also certain that Beck was going to be the starter in Washington DC over Grossman despite Grossman's superior performance.

I'm not sure where the Bennett hype train got on the tracks because in 3 years he has yet to show that he's going to amount to anything more than a standard 600-800 yd 3-5 TD guy. There sure is a lot of hype though. Sometimes that 3rd year wide receiver rule applies to a players 4th years.

I've got Knox as a WR4.

Not expecting much, but I think the potential is there.

I've grabbed Bennett in all three of my PPR leagues. I'd think someone would emerge. I wouldn't bet on Roy Williams for anything. Knox lost his job to Roy since he is still raw. Hester might be alright but meh probably not...Bennett is pretty well rounded, has had a good camp, and should get the most targets. We shall see.

Bennett will be the most reliable Bears WR this year, and Knox could be decent. Think of him like Lance Moore Lite. He'll be inconsistent and isn't going to catch a ton of balls, but he's likely good for a long TD every 2 or 3 weeks.

Hester and Williams still suck.

Well, he redshirted his rookie year so this is only his 3rd year counting against eligibility. :P

He showed some real nice flashes 2 years ago and down the stretch last season. Looked like a beast in the preseason and is hopefully coming into his own right now at age 24. I will take the chance on him because Roy Williams is garbage. Was terrible in Dallas and I really expect him to fizzle. They say Hester is coming around but I still think Bennett is a ppr steal considering where he is being drafted
