1.24 24. Pittsburgh – Luke Kuechly.

If only wishing could make it so.

I know CHI has other needs and have addressed one at WR with their trade with MIA but I wonder if they'd consider taking Kuechly at 1.19 as the successor to Urlacher?

Absolutely something we've discussed. There are a lot of teams that don't have a need right now, but will in the near future (Chicago's a great example) or may be looking for an upgrade (St. Louis). In the end, if Kuechly slips as we think we may someone will probably trade up for him. Given history, that won't be Pittsburgh. Then you guys get Hightower instead.

Even with the depth of the offensive side of the ball rookies entering the NFL this year and especially at WR, I'd give serious consideration to taking Kuechly end of Rd1/early Rd2 in leagues that use IDP's (depending on the scoring) if he landed in CHI as the successor to Urlacher.

He'll be an IDP stud in just about any 4-3.

If he's a Brown it won't be at 4.

Premium position and a VERY weak crop leads to plenty of uncertainty in our opinions. In the end I wouldn't be happy if my team took a DT before the end of round 2.

I would swap the Buccs and Rams pick.

Obv the Rams are praying the Browns take TRich and then they can take either Clairborne or Blackman but my gut tells me those 2 will be gone and the Rams will almost be forced to take TRich. Steven Jackson still can perform but this is a team looking to build a young foundation and be legite title cotenders within 2 years. With all those picks and a base of Bradford and TRich, that is a great start

Yes, very weird year for the DTs.. agree with the end of the 2nd that you mentioned .. actually I've been kind of hoping the vikes get an opportunity at D.Harris or K.Randall at some point later on but who knows whats on their mind.

There's a decent amount of buzz about that happening among Bears fans. No idea how the new front office will do. My guess is if the right guy is available they'll go for a DE. I'd agree with the mock draft that, right now, that seems like the most likely route.

Blackmon @ 4 to the Browns seems unlikely because the Browns don't draft WR's that high. They passed on a better WR prospect last year in Julio Jones.

I'd bet this pick is Claiborne, Richardson, or Tannehill.
