Sorry, you knew I had to take that shot at ya.

Again, though, hopefully the kid straightens himself out. Nothing he's done so far is as bad as Blackmon and if he's not a moron he can learn from it.

The key will be who has his ear. Hopefully the team can manage him.

I'm confused about what you were getting at.

Repeated stupidness on both Gordon and Blackmon's parts are why I'm not as high on either of them now as I was before.

It may not, but it sure brings up funny thoughts for me as I love to see the raiders do that..which is weird because growing up i loved to watch the raidahs..now, ive just met so many douchey raider fans ( tank excluded) i like to see them flail. It doesnt rise to the level of the Steelers, but it's there.

I would have thought you'd seen enough of that by this point in your life without looking to the west coast.

I'm giving Gordon some leash on this. It had to be known before hand by the Browns (as well as everybody else in the NFL) and they likely just kept it under wraps until they felt it necessary to come out with it. No way Whittingham (Utah HC) withheld this from NFL team staff.. -0- chance of it.

All I care to hear about now is that the kids busting his arse to do something with himself and keeps his head straight and piss and blood clean.

#Browns coach Pat Shurmur said if both Benjamin and Gordon progress at this pace they will be major contributors on offense

BY all accounts..Gordon is a freak of nature..just needs to run better routes...crisper cuts. Benjamin is somehow catching everything in sight..and nobody can catch up to him. He too is an average route runner at this time though.

Yep, just camp reports but if Weeden is better than I think he is teams won't be able to just clamp down on Rich. If they do we may have multiple game breakers up top now, like Braylon was before he went Hollywood.

Second-round WR Josh Gordon has already established himself as the Browns' "most physically gifted pass-catcher."
According to Vic Carucci of the Browns' official website, Gordon and Travis Benjamin have performed "exceptionally well" as arguably the two best receivers in camp. Gordon's combination of "exceptional size, strength, and athleticism is mostly unmatched by any other receiver on the team," writes Carucci. Gordon is starting to gain our attention in all formats

an update on growing pains..

#-o yessiree..

Poor routes, rounded cuts, bad footwork, missed assignments, dropped balls.

..but, he's everything advertised athletically and then some. Unfortunately they are planning to throw him in the deep end so expect plenty more of the same. He's truly the Cleveland "Pronk"..not hafner/indians. Half Project, Half Donkey

Massaquoi's penciled in to start week 1, Gordon's getting the Little treatment and is playing every bit like he did last offseason, I expect the same in-season. 2013 will be the time to judge him, this is just a learning year and we should be bad enough that he gets plenty on the job training after the bye.
