Thought I would get things started with my Round 1 predictions.

Cleveland vs.Chicago

I actually think this might be a closer series than most might think. The Bulls are playing good ball right now and have Noah healthy again. The Cavs have rested Lebron for over a week, which I think was a mistake....I think he will be rusty. The Bulls steal one in Cleveland and push the series to 6 games.

Cavs win 4-2

Orlando vs. Charlotte

This should be a good one. The Bobcats have a big frontline to match-up with Howard and are a very physical team. I still think Orlando is a better overall team and have the playoff experience. Would'nt hurt my feelings to see a upset though.

Magic win 4-2

Atlanta vs.Milwaukee

I don't follow either of these teams much, but I have seen more of the Hawks. They have good depth and with Jamal Crawford coming off the bench, I think this will be a short series.

Hawks win 4-1

Boston vs. Miami

Looking forward to this one. Boston is aging and Rasheed Wallace was a huge bust, but I still think they got enough to get by the Heat, just barely. Wade is a one man wrecking crew for the Heat, and should keep them in most of the games. I think KG is the key to this series, and if he plays well, Boston escapes.

Boston wins 4-3

I`ll try to do the West match-ups tonight.

Right on. I've got the Cavs in 5 and Magic sweep, but yeah, all top seeds advance in the top-heavy East.

Lakers, Jazz, Suns, and Mavs out of the West.

Was at the Nugs-Jazz game tonight. It was phenomenal. They really turned it on when they needed to and pulled away pretty easily.

That was a fun game to watch. I really think they will need George Karl back, if they want to make a long playoff run. That would be some serious inspiration for the team.

I agree with you on all those except I think the Nuggets may pull out a win, just because the Jazz are so dinged up right now.

And the Mavs will have their hands full with the Spurs, but I think they will pull out a long series win. Nobody can cover Nowitski...

Easily the best game of the weekend, as the Blazer's take down the Sun's on the road. Great game to watch...

Great game with the Cavs and the Bulls. If Lebron plays like that, they will be very difficult to beat.

Good game going on between the Spurs/Mavs right now. Hopefully it goes back to San Antonio at 1-1 in the series. We have tickets to Friday night's game. Just not sure who I will root for... :?

Man, what a great game last night. Ginobili is a absolute stud. Guy breaks his nose and comes back and was great in the 4th quarter. If the Spurs pull out this series, it will be a big upset to many, but I see these two teams play alot, and the rivalry sparks a higher level of play from the Spurs.

Got to do some updates on these ongoing series.

Western Conference:

Spurs are up 3-1 after last nights win. Cuban and his highest paid salary Mavs are all but toast. Cuban is like Daniel Snyder of the Redskins. Spending the most doesn't always mean success. The Yankees are the only ones who get to buy championships! :P

Trailblazers are tied 2-2 with the Suns. Honestly I thought the Suns would walk over the TB without Roy, but now he is back and its a coin toss at this point.

Jazz up 3-1 on the Nuggets. Without Carl on the sideline, they are all underachieving with the exception of Carmelo. The Jazz are really playing great though.

Lakers tied 2-2 with the Thunder. I love Durant and Westbrook and the way the team plays. Just not sure they can pull out a win versus the Lakers. Hope so.. :eusa_pray:
