Leaves are out (no surprise there - thats like 40 years in a row or something they've missed the playoffs :lol: )

Sabres eliminated tonight with the loss to the Habs (very surprised they missed the post season)

Canucks are on the verge of dropping out of contention

Red Wings are looking good in the standings but have stumbled with all their injuries down the stretch......

My pick for the cup???? San Jose Sharks.

They stumbled big time in February with their whole defense out, but they're fine now. Still missing a lot of firepower in Cleary in Homer, though, who were both kept out for the sake of the playoffs.

Sharks are the chic pick. Nabokov has been out of his mind this year, and I hope we can bounce them out again.

Don't forget Baltimore! I have always supported the lowly Orioles! 8) They are all teams I have liked since I was a little kid--probably picked them from their colors/helmets etc. Anyway, I have liked the same teams for 30 years now--through thick and thin 8)

I'm proud to say that the Flyers locked up a playoff spot tonight....

It wasn't exactly what I had in mind, but it gets the job done and wins me 2000 sands.

Now I'll just sit back and wait for Hussy and Pana to pay up. I believe those are the 2 lucky sharks who bet me. I may have to go back to the start of the season and double check that though.

Living in San Diego - I choose to spend the limited "fun" money on Padres baseball instead. When lived in Bay Area it was a different story 8)

Hopefully the Rangers can get home ice against the Devils tomorrow, 7-0 against NJ so far this year so I like the playoff match up against them.

I'm with crf though, San Jose is my pick to win it all.
