DU got flat-out out played last night. We failed to convert on 2 5-3 PP chances and we made way to many mental mistakes and like any could team should BC took advantage .

I am hoping for a split tonight.

Ouch, swept by the Blaiser and UNO at home.

Not a good start to the season :?

UND looked ready to go, odd to see this early in the season. So deep at defenseman, Bemidji coach made a comment that we have guys who didn't make the trip that would be their 3rd defenseman.

4 NHL draft picks were healthy scratches Saturday night...

This team is scary good.

Yeah I wouldn't be surprised at all to see UND in the title game this year.

Our "top" defensemen (Fairchild, Wehrs, Ness) would never see ANY ice time at UND

So Inside College Hockey dropped UND in their rankings this week... interesting...

Why do I look at that site again? Sure you can make the argument that BC deserves the ranking, but to arbitrarily change your mind when UND dominated their series against Bemidji allowing only 32 shots on goal in two games just seems off.

Once again, not saying BC isn't good just not understanding the logic behind dropping them after such a great performance.

UND I agree with your point my only thought would be quality of opponent or in Bemidji case lack of

They had UND at number 1? I think BC should have been ahead of UND just by default, but since they had UND up there, they probably should have left them at No. 1

I go to College Hockey News and USCHO mainly.

In case you guys didn't know, College Hockey News has a pretty cool live scoreboard on their site. Here's the link: http://www.collegehockeynews.com/schedules/scoreboard.php

I just found out about it this year. Always had to wait til the next day to get the scores on USCHO. CHN's live scoreboard is nearly in real-time, from what I've seen.

Swept by Maine... ouch.

BC lost as well, looks like Miami will be the new #1.

Beat St. Cloud today 2-1. Defense played a very solid game, for a change.

Wish we could have had Jacob Cepis for all four years. Kid goes at 100% all the time. No matter what, if we're up by 6 goals or down by 6 goals.

Hopefully this is a sign of things to come, because if our defense is solid, we can score on the PP, and even strength.

Yeah that surprised me.

One of my buddies watched both games and said they were calling a lot of stuff. Apparently the Hockey East refs are a little more stingy than the WCHA refs.

That's always the way it has been, you have to adjust though so its no excuse.

I like the WCHA style where they let a little bit go, I mean it is hockey after all... but I can't complain about the calls.
