Nightmarish last week. Opponents had a great week, I dropped from 2nd to 5th in total points. 1st gets $1600, 2nd $1200, 3rd $800, 4th $400. Fifth, nothing.

Here is the roster plus the dilemmas.

QB Romo/Fitzpatrick

How good is Romo's hand really? Fitzpatrick plays an awful secondary. So does Romo, but his hand....?

RB Rice/KSmith/Tate/FJones

Rice lock. Tate lock. .....then who? Packers are resting starters, awful weather in GB. Yet, Smith might get some rest himself. FJones is better but always getting hurt and the Giants are decent against the run.

WR Bowe/Wallace/VDavis/Witten/DThomas/Meachem (TE's=WR's)

Bowe is a lock. ...Wallace a lock? Then....who? Thomas (I expect a pound it out game). Witten finally get the ball again? Meachem is he even trustworthy? Same for VD?

Thanks guys, this is a real struggle and I appreciate ANY help. WHIR!

I think the QB decision is the easiest of them all. Romo is injured and he has a history of playing bad in big games (disclaimer: I am and Eagles fan so a little biased here). Fitzpatrick is going up against a secondary that everyone has lit up this year. I would start Fitzpatrick with confidence.

At RB, I think Rice is your #1 lock. He is a stud and should never be benched if the game matters. I would put Tate #2 because I am guessing that the Texans are not going to risk Foster getting injured in a game that means nothing to them. Jones is #3 to me but has the potential for putting up big numbers. He can be explosive and the Giants have given some big plays in the run game this year. I put Smith #4 basically because I think he is the fourth best player on this list.

For WR, I think that Bowe and Wallace are one and two in whatever order you prefer. Third is where this gets interesting. I think Meachem has the biggest upside but he also could be playing with a backup QB for some of the game and Brees is good at spreading the ball around. I would probably put Witten third because he is so good and might be able to help out a injured Romo. I think Davis and Meachem are both risky plays that have a lot of upside because they have skill. Thomas is last on my list because he has Tebow throwing him the ball in a game that could be pounded out on the ground by the Broncos.

Come on guys, I know you are looking at the thread. Give me any advice on any of the questions I asked, you don't have to answer them all. Don't let me down now!

I'd go with Felix and Daniel Thomas. Although either Felix or Kevin Smith could go down on the first play, the Cowboys have way more to play for, I'd always err on the side of motivation.

Best of luck!

Hmmm.... just read about the weather issues in Green Bay, that may push Kevin Smith over the top. Toss up for me now.

Crap sorry, that is Demaryius Thomas not Daniel Thomas. I like your motivation point though. I have Felix in at the moment.

What do you think of Romo vs Fitzpatrick?

In that case, gotta go with Witten - must win game.

You are doing me a huge favor here, I really appreciate it!

So would you run Witten and FJones, and then start Fitzpatrick to keep an egg separate or throw Romo in there?

Despite the good matchup for Fitz, I can't shy away from Romo in a must-win game. Plus, I believe the Pats are going to try to give Brady as many opportunities as possible to catch Drew Brees, I don't see the Bills having enough time of possession to give Fitz a big game.

Fitz can be scary unreliable, even against bad defenses. Romo has been great lately. He'll grit it out, and probably have a solid game. I think I like Romo. For what it's worth, I'd take Kevin Smith and Demaryius Thomas. That guy gets the ball no matter what.
