I would trade RG3 for Locker and Stewart.

I'd go for Locker and Wilson. I can't see Stewart being fantasy relevant unless he gets out of Carolina.

I cannot see CAR paying for 2 high multi-year contracts but CAR could franchise Stewart for a year, no? I suppose can look for CAR to draft another back in the early rounds next year to continue to drain DWill's value?

williams will make 5+ million next year and with Newton scoring rushing tds I think it would just be a waste of money for them to do it. If they franchise him , they will either have to pay him the following year or let him go either way. If they plan on him touching the ball 250+ times next I can see it. I will take my chances and go with the idea that he wont be in carolina next year, because if they plan on giving any sort of longer contract he will be looking to get something close to dwills.

With the trade deadline most likely to be move back into the season I could see him being traded 2/3rds the way through the season. There have been talks he wants to sign long term in carolina, but it just seem like the right thing to do if your going to keep williams. This might b a case of the right thing vs what they want.

I agree here. With Stewart you know what you are getting. Its not like he doesn't still produce even as the #2 RB on a team. Not too worried about Cam this year stealing goal line carries. Cam has even admitted to getting the talent around him more involved. He is just saying he wants a long term contract with Carolina just to help his trade value or his value for next off season. Doing the right thing. Wilson is the new toy that you are not familiar with the make and model.

What about I give Nicks

I get Crabtree, Torrey Smith and Jonathan Stewart?

I don't play in a dynasty league and may not understand its nuances. But I wouldn't trade a stud WR for three avg players.

I also wouldn't trade RGIII for Luck and Stewart. I believe RGIII's value will go up, similar to Cam's. I also believe Luck's value will go down because of the lack of talent around him.

Is there a reason you're asking about different trades? Is it a must and would like to do?

I think I'd pass on both trades. If you believe RGIII is going to succeed this year, I'd wait until he's proven it, then look at possibly trading him next year, for even more value. Now, if you don't think RGIII is going to pan out.... why'd you draft him? J/k. If you don't like the short term outlook on RGIII, then trading him is a much better option.

As far as the Nicks trade - man, I like both Crabtree and and Torrey to develop nicely this year.

Ultimately, I think your RB situation is strong enough to support your team for 1 more year. I'd want to wait on giving up a stud like Nicks, or a potential stud in RGIII.

Don't overthink the nuance aspect. Bad trades are bad trades, and this is one of them. Trading solid value for lottery tickets rarely works out positively.
