In a tackle heavy league, who do you like better this season, Paul Posluzsny or Lawrence Timmons?

Problem is that he wasn't a beast last season. He had one of his worst statistical seasons.

You call that one of the worst statistical seasons?

Yes, it was one of HIS worst statistical seasons. Looks at his career numbers.

You are right. I used him last year and i think the decline in tackles was because he was in coverage more last season. He had 2 ints last year. I remember one of last years player notes saying he was playing more coverage

He had shoulder surgery over the offseason. We'll see how that holds up.

Good news is AFC South is full of teams that comparatively will run a lot (Hou, Tenn, and Indy), so more tackle opps for Poz.

Yeah, hes not the worst in coverage, but its not his greatest trait.

Its moot, hes still a more productive source of tackles given how ugly that offense is shaking down ...

Gabbert @Starter
MJD Holdout
OL injuries

Id suggest Poz will be on the field quite a bit esp in comparison to PIT.

Thats even before we get to discussing other factors

I'd give the edge to Poz after Timmons stank up the joint much of last season. In my opinion the former is a mid-range IDP LB2 and the latter's a higher end LB3.

They're both LB2s with upside, but given the opportunity I expect Poz to have this year, I give him the nod.
