Is it? Jahvid Best at #1?????

Am I to believe that my first round draft pick will be hovering in the 30's in rankings with the likes of No show Moreno? and Ryan "Door" Matthews?

Say it ain't so...I know he is going up against a tough run defense but cmon man.

Am I to believe he averaged 2.6 ypc against the Jaguars and only toted the rock 9 times, also added a few catches. BUT, I would imagine his week one stat line hurt his projections for this week. After he runs for 100 and a td this week I'm sure it will be easier to project him having a nicer statline every week.

4.24 week 2 rankings

Pro Football Weekly - 16
CBS Sports - 25
KFFL - 18
FF Toolbox - 10

While the #32 ranking in FS seems low to me, it looks a little more reasonable if you take into consideration where other pundits are putting him this week.

If i remember correctly these projections are done by some of the staff members, I dont think these are from Tony at all but i maybe wrong. but i would agree best #1 is a reach imo hes a solid play just not the best RB this week.

i still don't understand why people care so much how other people rank players.

unless of course you are trying to trade with them.

It's probably because most people think the Jags defense is awful in every way and are overreacting to week 1. CJ is a stud but went against a good run defense and a divisional opponent that had weeks to gameplan for him. With CJ he'll have games like that where he doesn't do a lot then the next week it's 30 fantasy points. Unless it's a dynasty league or something similar where you have a few studs, I don't think I'd ever bench CJ if he's healthy.

This isn't "who's better?", it's "who will do better this week?". I don't see the problem. They're predictions.

Projections are for entertainment purposes only.

The Ravens held Mendy to 45 yards, I suspect they're taking this plus Chris Johnson's last week into consideration. I think it's more likely he ends up closer to 32 than 1 this week as well. Obviously NOBODY is benching him though.
