If anyone cares besides me... We resigned Williams, we aren't getting Harrington, and we got lots of cap space to try and extend more of our O-line

Just learned of this about 2 minutes ago. SJS "politely informed" me of this in the resigning of Williams thread you started. I was sticking up the news as being worthy of a thread.

Now I think I might occasionally bump the thread just to peeve him off a bit. :D

In a way I'm glad we aren't getting Harrington. Although the prospects of a servicable backup QB are getting slimmer. I guess Doug Johnson is servicable but I don't like the idea of him playing too much. So maybe Marvin is comfortable right now with Johnson as a backup.

More news....

Just resigned RB Kenny Watson. May he never see the field as our primary RB. (Nothing against him, though).

Haven't seen anything on him recently, a blurb a couple months ago had him starting opposite Dexter Jackson. Don't know if that is just wishful thinking though.

well in the bengals board quite a few people believe he will have his job back next year... I haven't seen anything official and I don't think we will until at least the preseason...

More exciting Bengals News......

Cincinnati signs TE Stewart
Associated Press
National Football League News Wire

CINCINNATI -- The Cincinnati Bengals re-signed tight end Tony Stewart to a one-year contract Tuesday.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed by the team. Stewart was an unrestricted free agent.

The 6-foot-5, 260-pounder was used mainly as a blocker by Cincinnati. He played 14 games for the Bengals last season, starting in three.

He caught four passes for 26 yards and appeared in the Bengals' wild-card loss to Pittsburgh.
