Yes - we have had crap for D. We've also had some bad luck with guys such as Pollock and Thurman, in addition to having all the LBs we started the season with out at the same time. I think a lot of its is the owner and the upper management. They just don't create an atomosphere that attracts big name FA's. Thus we have to build through the draft, WHICH takes time.
Overall, I think the D is headed in the right direction as there were a couple of times this season that they actually looked decent. Get Hall and Joseph another year, Get Thurman back, and find a DC who will take what personnel he has to work with when developing a system and we could be alright on the D side.
